We still have several months to wait until the 22nd season of Grey’s Anatomy arrives, but we’re already looking ahead at what we can expect for the new episodes.

There was an explosion at the end of the season 21 finale and only two characters are confirmed to return in the upcoming season, but we recently learned that several stars already have deals in place for the next season.

Showrunner Meg Marinis revealed in a post-finale interview that she can only confirm two characters will be back, but we did get some additional insight from the interview.

ABC has already revealed the Fall 2025 schedule and where Grey’s will end up on the lineup for season 22.
