Who Went Home First on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ 2026? Spoilers for Male Celeb Eliminated During Season Premiere

While Dancing With the Stars usually never eliminates anyone in the first week of the competition, ABC is doing something different this year and TWO people are going home in week one. SPOILERS AHEAD!
There are 16 celebs competing this year, instead of the usual 14, so two people are going home in week one during the two-night premiere.
ABC has split up the contestants into one night for the men and one night for the women, with one man and one woman going home at the end of each episode.

During night one, eight men competed and we have details on all of their scores. The judges were really hard on the contestants, giving out some of the lowest scores in the show’s history.
There was a mishap for voting during the season premiere, with online voting going down at the beginning of the night. Nearly halfway through the episode, the show made the decision to throw out online voting for the season premiere, deciding that only text voting would be valid for night one.
So, who went home?

Connor Leavitt – Eliminated on Night One
Connor Leavitt, the husband of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Whitney Leavitt, was sent home on night one and is officially the first celebrity to be eliminated in season 35.
Sadly, the winner of The Next Pro, Adele Zaikman, was the first person to be eliminated in her very-first season.
Take a look at the lowest Dancing With the Stars scores of all time.
