‘Big Brother’ Schedule Changes This Week: What the Two Hour Episodes Might Indicate

Big Brother is back tonight (September 16) with a brand new episode.
This week, both the Wednesday night Veto Competition episode, and the live Thursday night eviction episode, will be two hours long.
If you’re newer to the Big Brother universe, you may not know the significance of this.

Why are the Big Brother episodes two hours long this week?
As we get closer to the finale, there are often schedule changes in the Big Brother world. This is not unusual, as they’re juggling scheduling with NFL football and other CBS premieres.
What does the two hour Thursday episode indicate?
As we approach the final six on Thursday, fans may be wondering why there’s a two hour episode, when usually, its only an hour long.
Well, often times, a two hour long episode will indicate that there’s a double eviction coming.
What is a double eviction on Big Brother?
A double eviction is when the Head of Household, nominations, and vote all happen in one episode as opposed to taking the entire week to complete.
If the double eviction does happen on Thursday, it will bring us down to the final 5 players for the season.
