Earlier this week, Zac flew to Rio where he surprised Simone Biles and the rest of the Final Five congratulating them on their big wins during the Olympics.

After relaxing at his hotel, Zac attended a basketball game where he shared a selfie supporting team USA.

“US all day #rio2016,” Zac captioned the below Instagram pic.

Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger were pulled from their flight while traveling home from the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics on Wednesday (August 17) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The U.S. Olympic swimmers were detained for police questioning in connection with the robbery that took place over the weekend with teammates James Feigen and Ryan Lochte, the L.A. Times reports.

“They’ve been completely non-responsive today,” a member of Team U.S.A. told People. “I don’t know that they knew how serious this was, and that they were about to start an international incident. The feeling was that this was Ryan‘s issue, because he was the one who had talked to police the most, but this is a big deal for all of them.

The source added, “Right now, we don’t know what’s going on, but this is serious. They’re in Brazilian custody right now, and that’s something that we have no control over.”

Police reportedly suspected the group’s robbery claim to be false. A judge issued their passports be seized.

Ryan is already back in the U.S. and left before the order was issued. This is a developing story.

Simone Biles might be trading in the balance beam for the dance floor!

According to US Weekly, the 19-year-old Olympian is Dancing with the Stars‘ top pick for season 23 of the hit ABC dance show.

“They would love to cast some Olympians if possible,” a source told the magazine. DWTS was waiting until the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics unfolded before pursuing athletes to join the competition show in order to see which Olympians stood out.

Simone has had quite an eventful summer. The gymnast won four gold medals and one bronze during her time in Rio for the Olympics.

The full list of stars joining season 23 of Dancing with the Stars will be announced on Good Morning America on August 30.

The 28-year-old actor was there to discuss meeting Simone Biles and the rest of the women’s gymnastics team but also ended up meeting male gymnast Danell Leyva!

After surprising the Final Five the day before, Zac and the team decided that they were going to grab pizza while he was in Rio.

Gymnast Aly Raisman took to her Twitter to follow up on the plans, excitedly writing, “WHEN R WE GOING FOR PIZZA!?!”

Zac quickly replied, “Tomorrow! Dibs on pepperoni 😉”

FYI: Zac is wearing Bombas socks and Salvatore Ferragamo sunglasses.

Police in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil have said that they have found “no evidence” that Ryan Lochte and fellow swimmers Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger and Jimmy Feigen were robbed at gunpoint.

The 32-year-old Olympian’s lawyer Jeff Ostrow defended him in a statement.

“This happened the way he described it,” Jeff said, adding that Ryan signed a statement this week confirming his story. “Ryan was a hundred percent cooperative and fully available when they reached out to us for an interview. It doesn’t behoove Ryan and anyone else to make up a story.”

Police say that while fake police stops, like the one Ryan described, do happen, they are not common in that area and usually happen in poorer cities.

Kerri Walsh Jennings has sadly faced her first loss during her Olympic career.

The 38-year-old beach volleyball player and her partner April Ross suffered a defeat against Agatha Bednarczuk Rippel and Barbara Seixas De Freitas of Brazil during the semi-finals on Tuesday (August 17) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Kerri won the gold medal in beach volleyball for the last three Olympics alongside partner Misty May-Treanor.

Not only has Kerri never lost an Olympics match in her career, she has only ever lost two sets in the past. She will now compete on Wednesday night against Brazil’s other team for the bronze medal.

Simone Biles and Aly Raisman picked up the gold and silver medals respectively in the Women’s Floor final at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics and now you can watch their routines here!

This was the final competition in gymnastics this year and Simone has won five medals overall while Aly has won three.

In the floor exercise finals, Simone scored a 15.966 and Aly scored a 15.500. They were the only women to score in the 15-point range!
