Watch Aly Raisman's Nervous Parents Squirm in Their Seats at Rio Olympics 2016!
Aly Raisman‘s parents once again went viral over photos of them watching her compete in the women’s artistic gymnastics qualification at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games on Sunday (August 7) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The 22-year-old athlete’s mom Lynn and dad Rick nervously squirmed in their seats as she did her routine.
Luckily, Aly did in fact qualify for the all-around final for her second Olympics in a row.
“I get nervous because I know what goes into it and how many hours she’s prepared and how hard she is on herself, and I want her to be happy and go out there and do the best performance she can do,” Lynn told People. “So when it’s over, she is happy no matter the results, so I do get nervous. But whatever she was doing I want her to have the best outcome.”
Her parents’ reaction went viral back during the 2012 London Games as well.
