The 29-year-old first-time Olympian scored a silver medal on Saturday night (August 7) in Tokyo, Japan alongside her teammates Laura Kraut and McLain Ward.

Swimmer Caeleb Dressel Sets New World Record for Men's 100m Butterfly at Tokyo Olympics

Caeleb Dressel is breaking more records at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan!

The 24-year-old swimmer earned a third gold medal at the summer games in the Mens’ 100m Butterfly event.

Caeleb was at the top of the leader board with an impressive 49.45 seconds, which beat his own world record of 49.50 seconds.

He also earned two other gold medals earlier in the games this week for the men’s 100m freestyle and the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay.

Caeleb will also be competing in the men’s 50m freestyle semifinals later on Saturday (August 1), and will also compete in the mixed-gender medley relay, which is a brand new event for the games.

The relay, which is expected to be packed with gold medal contenders from each nation, will feature two men and two women in the traditional medley relay order, starting with backstroke then breaststroke and butterfly before finishing with freestyle.

Simone Biles Out Of Two More Events at Olympics; MyKayla Skinner Steps In

Simone Biles has made the decision to not compete in two more events at the 2020 Olympics this weekend.

The 24-year-old gymnast has withdrawn from both the uneven bars and vault competitions at the international athletic competition.

Simone Biles Will Not Compete in All-Around Competition at Olympics

Simone Biles has made another big decision with her future in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Earlier today, the 24-year-old gymnast announced she would not compete in the team finals, where Team USA had earned a silver medal.

Now, Simone has announced she will not be competing in the All-Around competition, for which she is the reigning champion.

Team Australia's Ariarne Titmus Swim Coach Goes Wild After She Wins Gold In 400m Freestyle

Dean Boxall completely lost it as Ariarne Titmus won the 400m Freestyle Final during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan on Monday (July 26).

Ariarne, 20, edged out Team USA’s Katie Ledecky to pick up the gold medal in the event and Dean could not contain his excitement.

In the video, Dean excitedly pulls off his mask and yells in celebration, as well as a few hip thrusts in excitement.

“I think I went outside of my body,” he told Sports Illustrated. “I just lost it.”

Dean added, “I can’t help it. believe in my athletes. It’s very simple, when the athletes leave the pool deck…they begin the recovery process and they switch off. I go home and try to find a way for them to get better. I don’t turn it off. That’s probably why I let it out.”

Ariarne will compete in three more events: the 200 and 1,500-meter freestyles and the 800-meter relay.

First Lady Jill Biden Attends Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony

Dr. Jill Biden is enjoying the Games!

The 70-year-old First Lady was in attendance during the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics on Friday (July 23) at National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.

She was seen wearing a blue mask and black-and-white polka dot dress and joining a handful of world leaders at the stadium, which was closed to the public, amid the pandemic.

The visit also marked her first solo international trip as the First Lady.

French President Emmanuel Macron was also there, as well Japan’s Emperor Naruhito.

The opening ceremony included elaborate fireworks and choreography, as well as a moment of silence for those that we lost due to COVID.

Jill Biden also had a virtual meeting with members of Team USA to congratulate them, as well as meeting with Emperor Naruhito at the Imperial Palace. She is also due to host an Olympics watch party at the U.S. Embassy for staff and families on Saturday (July 24) before heading back home.

Simone Biles & Team USA Are Not Walking in the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony - Find Out Why!

Don’t expect to see Team USA gymnasts at the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony.

The team of athletes, including superstar team captain Simone Biles, will not be walking in the opening celebration to kick off the Games, they confirmed on Friday (July 23).

In a post on Instagram, Simone shared a group photo of the team in their Ralph Lauren designer outfits.
