Rihanna got everyone’s attention in a full red on red look in New York City!
The 35-year-old singer stepped out for a late night dinner with partner, A$AP Rocky, on Sunday night (April 23).
For the outing, Rihanna showed off her growing baby bump (she’s expecting her second child with Rocky) all while wearing a semi-controversial trend from the early 2000s – wearing a skirt over pants!
Her look consisted of a sheer turtleneck top and a body-con skirt worn, which she wore over her matching flared pants, with a pair of strappy heels.
Rihanna is not the first to try and bring back this trend – actress Katie Holmes pulled out the look for the 2022 Jingle Ball in December.
Katie‘s stylist, Brie Welch, said that the look was “more youthful feel for Jingle Ball and the atmosphere there” at the time.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky head into a recording studio on Wednesday (September 14) in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old “Diamonds” icon and her 33-year-old partner were dressed casually. Rihanna carried a bag emblazoned with a heart, and A$AP had a folder in hand. They walked side by side and appeared to be in good spirits.
It is unclear what they might be working on in the studio. However, it’s been six years since Rihanna dropped her last album ANTI. Fans have been anticipating a follow-up for years, and Rihanna has shared several teases along the way.

“I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile,” she wrote on her Story.
“I initially assumed that this fake gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously. However in the last 24h I’ve been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off limits,” she continued.
“Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated times in one’s life. Therefore I have to speak up as this is not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for. While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business – I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!”
Rihanna dresses up her baby bump in a soft peach dress while arriving at the Off-White Womenswear Fall/Winter 2022/2023 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on Monday afternoon (February 28) in Paris, France.
The 33-year-old pregnant singer was joined by partner A$AP Rocky on the front row to view the new collection, as well as models Luka Sabbat, Taylor Hill and Caro Daur.
Just a few nights before, Rihanna and Rocky were spotted out to dinner in Milan, Italy, where they also stepped out for a few fashion events during Milan Fashion Week.
When Rihanna asked him what his own skin type is like, he jokingly said: “Handsome.”
Rihanna shared things she wished she could change about the industry.
“I wish the leaders of the beauty industry were a more diverse set of pioneers who have not just experienced the culture but have experienced a negligence in the industry whether it comes to their skin tone or skin type. I feel like there’s so many voids to be filled and we will only know that by the pioneers that have experienced those voids, and the lack of their representation in the industry,” she said.
“I wish it was more versatility, diversity, obviously you know. I think it’s kinda trying to evolve especially with a person like yourself. But I do wish that there was way more versatility,” he agreed.
“Men love their skin and they take care of it but they feel obligated almost to only use products that are for men because anything beyond that seems like it’s just too feminine,” Rihanna said.
She also said everything she knows about skincare she learned from her mother: “My entire concept of beauty came from her. I wanted to dress like her. I wanted to look like her. I wanted to do my hair like her. I wanted to do my makeup like her.”
“My mother, my brothers, they had to have their nails clean, they had to be short, they had to be filed. My mother was that kind of woman and I think I’ve kind of adopted that point of view from her.”
