Allison Janney is loving her life just the way it is.
In a new interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 61-year-old one-time Oscar winner and seven-time Emmy winner opened up about not getting married or having kids, saying that she doesn’t have any regrets about it.
“I think if I would have found the right guy at the right time who wanted to have kids, I probably would have with the right partner because I wasn’t ever really confident that I wanted to have kids,” Allison explained. “I would rather regret not having kids than have kids and regret that. I’m OK with it.”
She added, “I really am this time in my life getting to know who I am and what I want. I’d love to eventually find someone to share my life with but if it doesn’t happen, I’ll be just fine.”
While making her virtual appearance on the show, Allison debuted a brand new, super chic hairstyle!

The 61-year-old Drop Dead Gorgeous actress made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday (April 6).
“I have been dying to see this new hairdo on you live and in person. It’s stunning,” Drew Barrymore remarked of the star’s short, naturally grey, undyed hair style.

Olivia Wilde has approved of one movie pitch from a fan for Harry Styles.
In a recent post from journalist Evan Ross Katz, he proposed that Harry, 27, and Oscar winner Allison Janney, could team up for a flick based on two photos where both of them are wearing fur coats.
“Need a cinematic universe where it’s Harry Styles and Allison Janney in bulky fur coats,” he had written, alongside the photos. “We can figure out plot details at a later date.”
Olivia then reacted to the pitch, leaving a laughing cry emoji in the comments.

Recently, Olivia seemingly supported her musician beau after his win at the 2021 Grammys earlier this month.
In her post on Instagram, Olivia shared a photo of a young Paul McCartney eating a slice of watermelon.
Harry had won the Best Pop Solo Performance Grammy for his “Watermelon Sugar” song.

Allison Janney made an appearance on last night’s episode of The Late Late Show, and she revealed her theory about why Mom was cancelled this year.
CBS announced in mid-February that the hit show would not be returning after eight seasons. Allison has brilliantly played the role of Bonnie Plunkett for the entirety of the show. Anna Faris was also on the show, but left before season 8.
“I wish that we’d had at least another year for the writers to have that much time to ramp up to the ending. We sort of found out sooner than we thought we would,” Allison said. “We thought, ‘Surely, they’re gonna want more Mom.’ And they decided not.”
She said there is many reasons why the show was cancelled and added that “most of them” are “probably money” related.
“But I know that Chuck Lorre is writing the final episode and we’re, right now, filming the third-to-last episode,” she continued. “And I’m having a lot of moments where I’m just standing on set, taking it in and looking at all the faces I’ve looked at for eight years.”

According to Deadline, the award-winning Schitt’s Creek actress will star alongside Allison Janney and Ben Platt in the flick based on Grant Ginder‘s novel.
The comedy will center on a dysfunctional family who just can’t seem to get along and get it together.
However, they reluctantly reunite for a family wedding and, as their many skeletons are wrenched from the closet, it turns out to be just what this singular family needs to reconnect.
Claire Scanlon will direct the movie, with a script by Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux.

Allison Janney is saying goodbye to Mom.
The 61-year-old actress took to Instagram on Thursday (February 18) to share a statement after it was announced that her sitcom was coming to an end after eight seasons.
“Getting to be part of MOM these past 8 years…showing the laughter, love and hope that can come with recovery, has been one of the great honors of my life,” Allison started her post.
She then went on to thank everyone involved in Mom from the creators to writers to all the crew members.
“I want to thank Chuck Lorre, Gemma Baker, Nick Bakay, and all the writers – Eddie Gorodetsky, Alissa Neubauer, Susan McMartin, Sheldon Bull, Adam Chase, Marco Pennette, Britte’ E. Anchor, Warren Bell, Anne Flett-Giordano, Michael Shipley, Ilana Wernick, Laura House, Christine Zander, Chelsea Myers, Chandra Thomas, Robyn Morrison, Mike Binder, Hayley Mortison, Michael Borkow, Sam Miller, Maria Espada, Nadiya Chettiar for giving us these wonderfully flawed and lovable characters to bring to life. I miss seeing all of your faces 😢” Allison wrote, before sending love to her cast members.
“And these amazingly talented actors I got to act with everyday!!! Mimi, Jaime, Kristen, Beth, and the coolest man on the planet, Bill Fichtner. and of course Anna Faris,” Allison added.
Allison concluded her post by thanking director Jamie Widdoes and all of the show’s fans for continuing to tune in to Mom.
”Jamie Widdoes for your patience and dedication and enormous talent steering this ship! Our entire crew, your laughter and love and dedication to this show has made it a joy to come to work ❤️” Allison concluded. “And last but not least all of our extraordinary fans!!! Earlier this week, Allison opened up about what it felt like without Anna Faris on the set, after she left the show after season seven.
The Mom series finale will air on Thursday, May 6 at 9pm ET on CBS.
