Becca Kufrin is opening up about her state of mind after breaking off her engagement with Garrett Yrigoyen.

The 30-year-old reality star opened up to fans on an Instagram Story Q&A this week, updating them all on how she’s doing following their split.

“I’m doing surprisingly well,” Becca shared on the social media platform. “Life always has its ups and downs.”

Becca officially announced her split from Garrett earlier this month, after issues came up between the two as he supported the Blue Lives Matter movement rather than sharing his support for Black Lives Matter.

“Garrett and I came to this decision after many conversations. It wasn’t just something we just arrived at one night. It wasn’t based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else’s opinions or comments,” Becca shared in a statement about the break up. “There’s much more to it. To any relationship, there’s a lot of layers. It’s not for me to divulge details. It’s no one’s business other than what I’m telling you right now.”

Rumors that Becca and Garrett were headed towards a breakup started earlier in the summer.

Becca Kufrin and her fiance, and the man she chose as the winner of her season of The Bachelorette Garrett Yrigoyen, have officially called it quits.

If you don’t know, Becca had previously revealed that her relationship with Garrett was having some issues after he made comments in support of a pro-police slogan associated with Blue Lives Matter.

She went on her podcast, which she normally co-hosts with Rachel Lindsay, to announce the news alone because she “didn’t think it was fitting to bring anyone else into this conversation when my relationship was only made up of two people: myself and Garrett.”

“I don’t think it’s going to come as a shock to anyone, but Garrett and I have decided to end our engagement,” she said. “Garrett and I came to this decision after many conversations. It wasn’t just something we just arrived at one night. It wasn’t based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else’s opinions or comments. There’s much more to it. To any relationship, there’s a lot of layers. It’s not for me to divulge details. It’s no one’s business other than what I’m telling you right now.”

She added that they “realized that we still have so much love and kindness and compassion in our hearts for the other person, but sometimes people’s paths just go different ways.”

“We went on this crazy TV show over two years ago in hopes of finding love, and we were lucky enough that we did,” she continued. “We really, truly did. I’m so grateful for that opportunity and to have had the two-plus years with Garrett. Like I said, I still have so much love and compassion in my heart for him. Just because we’ve arrived at this decision now doesn’t take away all of the years and the countless memories that we’ve made together. I will always look back at this time in my life with so much gratitude and love.”

Garrett has been in the headlines on and off for years for what he has posted on social media and even apologized for what he previously wrote as his season of The Bachelorette was airing.

Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen have reportedly ended their relationship after two years together.

The couple met on season 14 of The Bachelorette back in 2018 and they got engaged on the show. E! News is now reporting that the engagement has been called off.

Becca had previously revealed that her relationship with Garrett was having some issues after he made comments in support of a pro-police slogan associated with the Blue Lives Matter movement.

“Becca is still very upset with Garrett‘s comments and the controversy surrounding it,” a source told E! News. “Their lifestyles don’t mesh anymore. Garrett wants different things and they came to a realization that they aren’t compatible anymore.”

Speculation over the split started on Thursday after Garrett did something on Instagram that had fans talking.

Fans of The Bachelorette noticed something and the story is now making the round on Bachelor Nation Twitter.

Garrett Yrigoyen, who won Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette, deleted his Instagram Story highlights reel featuring his fiancee, prompting fans to wonder if they have broken up.

He has not deleted photos of the couple from his actual page.

Fans started wondering if they split after Garrett‘s comments about siding with the police amid the police brutality protests went viral. She later admitted she did not know where they stood in their relationship.

So far, neither Garrett nor Becca has confirmed any of the rumors about their relationship. Stay tuned.

Rachel Lindsay isn’t holding back about how she feels about Garrett Yrigoyen.

The former Bachelorette star opened up in a new interview on Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino about her feelings for Garrett, who is engaged to Rachel‘s podcast partner and friend, Becca Kufrin.

“I think he’s a piece of s***, and I have said to her, ‘I will not f*** with him’,” Rachel confessed.

She added that since his first comments involving police brutality and Black Lives Matter, “he has doubled down on his beliefs. This isn’t the first time he’s had problematic behavior.”

“When he was on the season, he had a history of liking things that were racist, sexist, homophobic, calling the Parkland students child actors, it was a lot,” Rachel recalled of Garrett. “So this is who this man is and he’s a piece of s*** to me.”

Rachel added, “This is going to make headlines. Maybe I’m causing problems.”

Last month, Garrett made headlines for his social media posts in support of the police following the death of George Floyd. Becca, then, stood by Garrett before having a big conversation with Rachel on their podcast.

Becca has since updated fans on where her relationship stands with Garrett.

Clare Crawley is getting a little gift from former Bachelorette stars Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin.

The 39-year-old reality star was a guest on the duo’s Bachelor Happy Hour podcast where they revealed to her that there’s a Bachelorette Bible that has been passed around through the recent title holders, expect Hannah Brown.

“I don’t know why we didn’t give it to [her],” Becca admitted, before realizing it had been in her mom’s basement for the past two years.

Becca shared that the “bible” is something that Rachel, Kaitlyn Bristowe and JoJo Fletcher made for her ahead of her own Bachelorette season.

“Right before you hopped on I did a little digging in a bunch of boxes in my apartment and I found the Bachelorette Bible that Rachel, Kaitlyn and JoJo made for me,” she shared. “I met them night one, before I met the guys and they gave me the Bachelorette Bible.”

She added, “They have some great things written in here. I think we need to add our own and write some more stuff in and then I’ll send it to you. This was so good to carry on and pass down.”
