The Bachelorette‘s Becca Kufrin is revealing the truth about if she is still with her fiance Garrett Yrigoyen after he publicly supported the police amid the protests after George Floyd‘s murder.

“I want to say to our listeners out there — because I’m sure many will hear this back and wonder and ask and have opinions — for those who are curious about my relationship with Garrett at this point, all I can say right now is I don’t know,” Becca, 30, said on her podcast with fellow Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay. “I can’t give anything more than that. It’s something that we are trying to work through and discuss and do work on at home at this time and that’s where the work will remain and that’s really the best can give you at this point. But I wanted to share this — I know I’ve been rambling for a bit — but to give a little bit more context and to give you, Rachel, my apology and to really throw my voice and hat in the ring to say things need to change within the franchise and within myself as well.”

Rachel responded by saying, “What I really wanted this to be is an example of two friends who maybe have different perspectives, maybe have different backgrounds, upbringings, maybe didn’t see things in the same way. But the fact is, is that when you have someone who’s willing to learn, then as a friend who’s willing to learn, how as a friend can I not be willing to help out and be there for you? Now Garrett, that’s a different situation. I don’t f–k with Garrett. I don’t need to. But you and I have a different relationship and so I appreciate everything that you just said.”

Here’s what Becca said after the backlash of Garrett‘s controversial stance.

Becca Kufrin is breaking her silence on her fiance Garrett Yrigoyen‘s support of the police amid the police brutality protests across the nation after George Floyd‘s murder.

If you missed it, Garrett posted, “With so many friends and family in law enforcement I couldn’t sit back and not support them and the hundreds of thousands of men and women of all races that represent this Thin Blue Line as well. It’s important for me to recognize the ones who stand in the gap and put their lives on the line each and every single day for humans of different race and ethnicity, including those who hate them. The Thin Blue Line represents each officer protecting protestors, properties, and businesses while being threatened, attacked, shot, shot at, hit with vehicles, and other forms of brutality. There have been over 300 injured, shot, or killed in just one week. They are suffering the consequences over an act they didn’t commit.”

“Remember when they put on the badge they’re still humans, with raw emotion, the more brutality they face the more on edge they become, they make mistakes, they have compassion, and no matter how terrible they are treated or whatever negative is said to them, they still show up for us when we need them! Remember these men and women who hold this Thin Blue Line; strangers, friends, family, neighbors, or your enemies. They will always be out there protecting us, no matter what!” he added.

Becca responded on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

“Garrett is my fiancé and I love him and to his core, I believe that he is a good person,” Becca said. “I don’t align with and I don’t agree with” his social media post.

“I don’t think he meant it in a malicious way,” she added. “I do think it was tone-deaf, and it was the wrong time and message and sentiment.”

Rachel Lindsay added on the podcast, “To me, this is what Garrett thinks, this is what Garrett is. He posted a black box. He never said ‘black lives matter.’ He posted fists of every color, which to me is like, ‘Everybody, all lives.’ And then the very next post is the ‘thin blue line’ with a heartfelt, thought-out caption that he said with his chest. And to me, that is what you feel, and that is what you believe. I don’t think Garrett is malicious, but Garrett is what the problem is.”

Rachel just called out The Bachelor franchise for lack of inclusion and diversity.

Twelve of the former Bachelorette stars are gathering for a special, set to air later this evening on ABC!

The show – titled The Bachelorette Reunion: The Biggest Bachelorette Reunion in Bachelor History Ever – will reunite the past stars and reflect on their seasons. The show will also look ahead to Hannah Brown’s upcoming season, which will kick off next Monday.

Two Bachelorette ladies – Meredith Phillips (season two) and Jen Schefft (season three) – were unable to make it to film the special.

Garrett Yrigoyen goes shirtless while posing on the red carpet with fiancee Becca Kufrin at the Chippendales show on Saturday (March 23) at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.

The 30-year-old reality star, who won the last season of The Bachelorette, was the special guest host of the show for one night only.

Garrett had Becca join him on stage at one point during the show and he gave her a lap dance in front of the audience!

While he didn’t strip down as much as the other dancers, Garrett ripped off his shirt during the show, which you can see in the photo gallery.

Joining Becca in the crowd were her fellow The Bachelor co-stars Tia Booth and Caroline Lunney.

Colton Underwood has the full support of his ex-girlfriends at the start of his season as The Bachelor!

The 26-year-old former football player was in relationships with Becca Kufrin on The Bachelorette season 14 and Tia Booth on Bachelor in Paradise season five.

Both of the ladies took to Instagram to wish Colton luck in finding love.

Becca: “Colton, as you once told me ‘let’s get tonight poppin.’ So go get em tiger! Excited to meet your women and have you take us on your lurve journey (drink). It’s going to be one helluva ride, but hopefully worth every second. All my love and support to you because you deserve it.”

Tia: “Hey @coltonunderwood remember that time you wore a sleeveless sweatshirt at the beach and then we realized we were 0% compatible and solely meant to be supportive friends?… Well here’s my support. Now keep your damn shirt on and go find you a gal.”

Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay had a big criticism of Becca Kufrin‘s finale: Becca didn’t have to sit for three hours and watch her breakup with Blake, while Rachel had to sit on stage and watch her breakup with her runner-up, Peter.

“Take a trip down memory lane to exactly, oh let’s say one year ago. Becca did not sit on stage for three hours and watch the finale for the first time in front of a live audience. Becca did not have to deal with someone telling her she would live a mediocre life,” Rachel wrote in her Us Weekly blog. “Becca did not have to deal with being baited with real time questions about her emotions watching certain scenes. Nope, that was me. Let’s just be honest, Becca did not have the finale that I had.”

Becca responded by saying, “To be quite honest I didn’t remember that that even happened last year, but every show format is a little bit different. You know last [season], we had the two-night finale where they showed the breakup and then everything after that in two nights, so I think it’s just always different. I don’t really have much of a say in that.”

Becca Kufrin and her new fiance Garrett Yrigoyen are all smiles while appearing at the Build Series to talk about their engagement on Tuesday (August 7) in New York City.

A scene that fans didn’t get to see during the season finale of The Bachelorette last night was Becca reuniting with her ex-fiance Arie Luyendyk Jr.

“The conversation was brief and it was fine,” Becca told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “It was really just us wishing each other the best and moving on in our lives.”

Becca says feels “indifferent” about the scene getting deleted and added, “I’m [happy with] how the episode was portrayed and showing my journey at finding love with the other two guys that were left.”
