The first teaser trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, the new Star Wars limited series coming to Disney+, just debuted online! The series sees the return of Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also stars Hayden Christensen in his return to Darth Vader

Here’s the logline: The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie also star.

The trailer for Murderville just debuted online!

Here’s a synopsis: Meet Senior Detective Terry Seattle (Will Arnett), Homicide Division. For Terry, every day means a new murder case and a new celebrity guest star as his partner. But here’s the catch: each episode’s guest star isn’t being given the script. They have no idea what’s about to happen to them. Together, the guest star and Terry Seattle will have to improvise their way through the case… but it will be up to each celebrity guest alone to name the killer. Join them as they punch a one-way ticket to Murderville.

Netflix also revealed the list of celeb guest stars, including: Annie Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Marshawn Lynch, and Sharon Stone.

Murderville will debut on February 3.

Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily V. Gordon start off their morning by getting tested for COVID-19.

The 43-year-old actor and the 42-year-old screenwriter stopped by a local testing site to get tested for the virus on Sunday morning (January 9) in Los Angeles.

Kumail sported a blue zip-up hoodie from Jimmy Kimmel Live! while Emily wore a yellow T-shirt with a photo of a giraffe on it as they arrived at the testing site.

The couple – who has been married since 2007 – were seen putting on their black face masks as they got in line at the site.

If you missed it, Disney+ recently announced when Kumail‘s latest Marvel movie Eternals will be available for streaming on their site!

The stars are stepping out for the premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home!

Jared Leto and Simu Liu hit the red carpet in style for the premiere of the latest Marvel movie on Monday evening (Decmeber 13) held at the Regency Bruin Theatre in Los Angeles.

Other stars in attendance included Kumail Nanjani and wife Emily V. Gordon, Kid Cudi, Euphoria actress Storm Reid, The Many Saints of Newark actor Michael Gandolfini, Tia Mowry, black-ish co-stars Marsai Martin and Miles Brown, Succession actor Nicholas Braun, Frozen actor Josh Gad, Frankie Grande and fiance Hale Leon, Terry Crews and son Isaiah Crews, singer Madison Beer, influencer/model Alexis Ren, and comedian/actor Hannibal Buress.

Kumail Nanjiani brought his whole family along for a special screening of his new movie, Eternals, held at the AMC Empire 25 Theater on Monday night (November 1) in New York City.

The 43-year-old actor was joined by his screenwriter wife, Emily V. Gordon, and his parents, Shabana and Aijaz Nanjiani, for the event.

In a new interview, director Chloe Zhao opened up about how she let Kumail write his own jokes as Kingo in the film.

“It’s so important to make the audiences laugh, but I find it easier to make them cry than to make them laugh,” she shared with press, adding that she gives “Kumail a lot of props for helping me with” his dialogue having a lighter touch.

Chloe adds that Kingo is, “very complex. It’s funny, [he's] always a person who likes to make the situation comfortable, but if you think about him, he has very strong beliefs and he’s not afraid to stick by them. He just goes about it a bit differently than Ikaris.”

Eternals opens in theaters on November 5.
