The 2023 New York City Marathon is happening now!

The event is taking place on Sunday (November 5) in New York City, and it’s the 52nd edition of the race.

The annual NYC-based marathon draws thousands of attendees and participants in the big race. More than 50,000 runners from 150 countries are expected to take part in the event, and tons of celebrities are included in the marathon as well.

This year is no exception, featuring reality TV stars, actors, co-anchors from popular news programs and many more, via New York Road Runners.

Some of the brightest young stars on Broadway are stepping out for events during New York Fashion Week!

Kathryn Gallagher, one of the stars of the hit musical Jagged Little Pill, wore a white trench coat while attending the Jeffrey Dodd fashion show on Monday (February 10) in New York City.

That same day, West Side Story star Isaac Powell was in attendance at the Helmut Lang presentation, where a photo from the campaign he shot was on display.

Dear Evan Hansen star Laura Dreyfuss, who went on to star in Netflix’s The Politician, was in attendance at the Rebecca Minkoff presentation over the weekend at Pier59 Studios.

The ladies were joined by their friend Ben Platt for a fun night out and they were spotted tearing up the dance floor at the party.

Kaitlyn, Beanie, and Molly all starred in the movie Booksmart while Ben and Zoey starred in the Netflix series The Politician.

Booksmart actress Diana Silvers and The Politician actresses Laura Dreyfuss and Julia Schlaepfer were all seen on the red carpet at the InStyle and Warner Bros. After Party.

FYI: Diana is wearing a Brock Collection dress. Guests of age sipped on Casamigos cocktails at the party.

Alanis Morissette walks the red carpet at the opening night of her Broadway show Jagged Little Pill on Thursday (December 5) in New York City.

The new show uses the music from Alanis‘ album of the same name, plus some of her other songs, to tell a new and original story. She was joined at the event by husband Mario Treadway, as well as the show’s director Diane Paulus, book writer Diablo Cody, choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and her music co-writer Glen Ballard.

Lots of celebs stepped out to check out the opening night performance, including Sara Bareilles and her longtime boyfriend Joe Tippett.

Also in attendance were David Foster, Rosie O’Donnell and friend Ally Sheedy, singer Sarah McLachlan, theater owner Jordan Roth, The Politican‘s Laura Dreyfuss, and Broadway stars Ashley Park, LaChanze, and Laura Osnes with husband Nathan Johnson.

LaChanze‘s daughter Celia Rose Gooding is one of the leads in the show!

Ben and Bette are starring together in the Netflix series The Politician while Beanie worked with her in the Broadway musical Hello, Dolly!

Joining Ben and Bette were their The Politician co-stars Lucy Boynton, Julia Schlaepfer, Theo Germaine, Rahne Jones, Judith Light, and Laura Dreyfuss.

Ben and Beanie did a group costume with their longtime friends and her Booksmart co-stars, Noah Galvin and Molly Gordon. They dressed up as the characters from The Wizard of Oz!

The cast of The Politician are getting ready for season two!

Lucy Boynton, Julia Schlaepfer, Theo Germaine, Rahne Jones, Laura Dreyfuss and Ben Platt all got together to attend a special screening and conversation panel for The Politician at 92Y on Monday (October 28) in New York City.

“We start shooting in 10 days,” Ben told Variety a few days ago. “I don’t really know much, I’ve only seen the first episode but I know there’s a lot about the transit system, climate change, young voter turnout.”

On working with Bette Midler and Judith Light on season two: I’ve spent a lot of time with Judith, who is the most wonderful person,” Ben said. “I think I’ll be a little more intimidated by Bette because she’s an icon in musical theater. I’m mostly just so thrilled to show up and rise to their level.”
