Mandy Moore is enjoying a reunion with former This Is Us co-star Jon Huertas!

The two actors were spotted meeting up outside a hotel on Sunday afternoon (September 17) in New York City.

For those who don’t know, Jon played the role of Miguel on This Is Us. He was the best friend to Milo Ventimiglia‘s character Jack in the flashback scenes and in the present day, he was married to Jack’s widow Rebecca, played by Mandy.

Mandy and Jon have been joining forces on the frontlines of the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes this summer. Back in July, Mandy posted a photo of them on the picket line and said, “Day 1. Proud to stand with my fellow @sagaftra and @wgawest members demanding a fair contract.”

The This Is Us cast lost one of their family members last month.

It has been 15 years since the movie musical Mamma Mia! hit theaters and the film’s casting directors are opening up about the actresses that auditioned for the lead role of Sophie.

Amanda Seyfried ultimately landed the role as she “could not only sing but also looked so much like Meryl [Streep].”

Casting directors Priscilla John and Ellen Lewis chatted with Vogue for an oral history of the movie. They revealed 17 women who auditioned for Sophie and didn’t get the role, including three women who actually passed on the job offer.

Musical director Martin Lowe said, “Hollywood is not my world. Thankfully, I didn’t really know anything about those A-list girls at the time. I’ve subsequently looked back at my lists of people we saw and been shocked to discover some of the people that I apparently met.”

Mandy Moore is sharing a rare comment about her past romance with Andy Roddick.

The 39-year-old singer and actress reacted to GQ Sports‘ profile of Andy, 40, published several days ago commemorating the 20th anniversary of his U.S. Open win.

“Andy was a really formative part of my young adult life and although we’re not in touch, I was really moved by this article reflecting on the 20th anniversary of his US Open win and the kind of life he’s lead since,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday (August 28).

She added, “I’m so happy for him and his family. Congrats on this milestone, Andy!”

Mandy dated the former tennis player from 2003 to 2004 after they met on the set of How to Deal. Mandy is currently married to fellow musician Taylor Goldsmith, while Andy is is wed to model and actress Brooklyn Decker.

Mandy Moore is clarifying her comments.

After she originally spoke out and said she was paid “tiny, like 81-cent checks” for This Is Us streaming residuals amid the SAG-AFTRA strike, she took to Instagram to clarify her statement further.

“I want to bring a bit more clarity to a very nuanced issue. Striking isn’t fun. No one hoped it would come to this and I know everyone involved is hopeful for a resolution soon so folks can get back to work. The trickle-down effect felt across so many industries is already devastating,” she began.
