Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine put a lot on display in their new Prime Video movie Red, White & Royal Blue.

However, the 31-year-old Kissing Booth star was particularly concerned about his body hair, according to director Matthew Lopez. So much so that the director had to stop by his trailer to approve it before filming one day.

Matthew opened up about the funny interaction with the actor and how he assured him that everything was alright during a recent interview.

Sadly, a rumored three-hour cut of Red, White & Royal Blue does not exist. However, Prime Video softened the blow of the news by unveiling a new deleted scene featuring the movie’s stars Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine.

Fans got their hopes up about the possibility of seeing more of the pair as Alex Claremont-Diaz and Prince Henry of Britain after director Matthew Lopez mentioned that an early assembly of the movie was nearly an hour longer than the what made it to screens. However, he spoke out to explain that the quote was being misunderstood.

Red, White & Royal Blue, Prime Videos’ R-rated, queer rom-com, tells the story of the First Son of the United States falling in love with a Prince of England.

While fans of the Casey McQuiston novel that the movie is based on were excited by the rating, director Matthew Lopez recently admitted that he was a “little surprised” by it.

He opened up about the decision in an interview ahead of the movie’s August 11 premiere. The director also revealed what he added more of to the script once the rating was finalized.

Annaleigh Ashford just won one of the most prestigious awards in the Broadway community!

The Tony-winning actress picked up the Distinguished Performance Award during the 2023 Drama League Awards on Friday afternoon (May 19) at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.

Annaleigh beat out 46 other nominees to be the sole performer to be recognized by the organization this year. She won the award for her work as Mrs. Lovett in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd.

Some Like It Hot won the award for Outstanding Production of a Musical, Into the Woods won Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Leopoldstadt won Outstanding Production of a Play, and A Doll’s House won Outstanding Revival of a Play.

The stars of the play The Inheritance won big at the 2020 Tony Awards!

Andrew Burnap and Lois Smith picked up awards at the event on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

Andrew won the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for playing Toby Darling while Lois won Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for playing Margaret.

John Benjamin Hickey was at the event as a nominee for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play.

The show’s playwright Matthew Lopez won the award for Best Play, which was announced during the live show on CBS.

Even though we’re in 2021, this is actually the 2020 Tony Awards because it’s the ceremony delayed from June 2020. The awards show will honor the best of Broadway’s 2019-20 season!

Paramount+ will stream the two-hour Tony Awards ceremony starting at 7pm ET and CBS will then air a two-hour primetime special, The Tony Awards Present: Broadway’s Back!, starting at 9pm ET. The primetime special will include performances from beloved classics and the three Best Musical nominees.
