The new Disney+ movie Better Nate Than Ever is now streaming and it features some Wicked Easter eggs that will make Broadway fans smile.
If you’re not a Wicked superfan, you’re probably going to miss out on the joy, so let us fill you in.
In Better Nate Than Ever, thirteen-year-old Nate has big Broadway dreams. But when he isn’t cast in the school play, he and his best friend Libby sneak off to the Big Apple, where he’s unexpectedly reunited with his long-lost Aunt Heidi. Together they must prove that life’s greatest adventures are only as big as your dreams.
Lisa Kudrow gathers up with her young co-stars at the premiere of Better Nate Than Ever held at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday night (March 15).
“Rueby and Aria. They blew me away. They were so great. They were so nice,” Lisa shared of her young co-stars on the red carpet. “We got to like, hangout. Not out. But, in between, we all were in the same space, in the same room, and it was great. I loved talking to them a lot. They always knew their lines. And if they didn’t, it was OK, and who cares, I never know my lines. So, that’s OK.”
FYI: Rueby wore a Declare Denim jacket, Adolpho Sanchez skirt, with ONCH accessories, Charles and Ron bag and L’atelier de Charlotte boots. Joshua wore an Etro suit.

Lauren Ambrose hits the red carpet at the 2018 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 10) in New York City.
The former Six Feet Under actress was joined at the event by her My Fair Lady co-stars Harry Hadden-Paton (with wife Rebecca Night), Norbert Leo Butz (with wife and former Wicked co-star Michelle Federer), and Diana Rigg. They were all nominated for awards!
During the show, Lauren, Harry, and Norbert performed with the rest of the cast.
My Fair Lady won one award during the Tonys – Best Costume Design of a Musical.
