The NBC political satire series debuted in April 2009 and ended in February 2015, airing for seven seasons on the network.

Starring Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman, Jim O’Heir, Aziz Ansari, Retta, Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones, Adam Scott and Rob Lowe, the mockumentary-style series picked up 76 award nominations throughout it’s run, winning 13, including a Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a Television Series Comedy or Musical for Amy Poehler.

Here’s a synopsis: Armed with idea binders and the stalwart help of fellow employees, small-town civil servant Leslie Knope bushwhacks through bureaucracy to make to make her hometown a better place.

Chris Pratt Speaks Out After Missing Big 'Parks & Rec' Reunion on SAG-AFTRA Picket Line

Chris Pratt missed out on the big Parks & Rec reunion that took place on the SAG-AFTRA picket line earlier this week, and he has some thoughts on it.

The 44-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy actor brought Andy Dwyer to life on the hit series before fronting some of his biggest film projects to date.

However, he wasn’t able to make it out on Friday (August 11) when co-stars including Aubrey Plaza, Adam Scott and Nick Offerman got together to voice support for the ongoing strike in Hollywood.

He opened up about his absence in a new post on social media.

Aubrey Plaza Reunites with Nick Offerman, Adam Scott, & More 'Parks & Rec' Co-Stars at SAG-AFTRA Picket Line

The Parks & Rec cast is together again!

Aubrey Plaza, Adam Scott, and Nick Offerman all hit the picket line during the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes on Friday afternoon (August 11) in Los Angeles.

Fellow Parks & Rec cast members that took part in the strike included Retta, Ben Schwartz, Jim O’Heir, Allan McLeod, Kirk Fox, Joe Mande, Colton Dunn, and Alison Becker.

A miniature horse just like Lil Sebastian also joined the Parks & Rec cast on the picket line!

“Lil Sebastian made a rare public appearance to support the #sagaftrastrike #wgastrike alongside some people who understand how amazing he is,” Ben wrote on Instagram along with a photo of him and his former co-stars at the picket line.

The group was seen holding up their “SAG-AFTRA On Strike” and “Writers Guild On Strike” signs to show support for the union, which has yet to reach an agreement with Hollywood studios over fair pay and the use of AI in media.

In an interview from last year, Amy Poehler addressed the possibility of doing a Parks & Rec reboot.

Helen Slayton-Hughes has sadly passed away at the age of 92.

The actress – best known for playing Ethel Beavers on Parks & Recreation – died on Wednesday night (December 7), her family announced on Facebook the following day.

The 50-year-old comedian and actress was in attendance at the premiere of Russian Doll Season 2, where she was asked on the red carpet about a potential revival of the hit comedy series, which aired from 2009 to 2015 on NBC.
