Heroes is the latest TV series to develop a reboot!

On Wednesday (April 10), it was reported that a reboot of NBC’s hit fantasy series was being developed by original creator Tim Kring.

If you forgot, the series debuted in 2006 and concluded four years later. It starred the likes of Hayden Panettiere, Jack Coleman, Milo Ventimiglia, Masi Oka, Zachary Quinto, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Ali Larter, Adrian Pasdar and Greg Grunberg.

A report about the reboot includes some details about what fans can expect, including a hint about if the original cast will make an appearance.

Rachel Bloom is addressing her show’s recent cancellation.

Earlier this week, Hulu announced that they were canceling Reboot after just one season.

The show starring Rachel, Keegan-Michael Key, Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, Calum Worthy, Krista Marie Yu, and Paul Reiser centered on a fictional Hulu writing team bringing back a beloved family comedy from the early 2000s, “forcing its dysfunctional cast back together. Now they must deal with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world.”

While attending the premiere of Your Place or Mine on Thursday night (February 2), Rachel shared on Reboot‘s cancellation.

Hulu has made the decision to cancel Reboot just after one season.

Deadline reports that the streamer pulled the plug on the series after also axing three other shows.

However, the outlet reports that the series could be shopped elsewhere.

Reboot is coming!

The highly anticipated eight-episode original comedy series from the co-creator of Modern Family, Steven Levitan, is set to hit Hulu soon, and the streamer just released the first images.

The series stars Keegan-Michael Key, Judy Greer, Johnny Knoxville, Paul Reiser, Rachel Bloom, Calum Worthy and Krista Marie Yu.

Here’s the synopsis: “Hulu reboots an early 2000’s family sitcom, forcing its dysfunctional cast back together. Now they must deal with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world.”

The show will premiere on Hulu on Tuesday, September 20 with two episodes. New episodes stream weekly.

“After working thirty years in TV comedy, this is both my love letter to sitcoms and, if I’m being honest, much-needed therapy,” the show’s creator said, via Variety.
