Sean Penn and Tye Sheridan are hard at work on the set of their new movie!

The two actors were seen filming their upcoming thriller Black Flies in New York City on Monday (April 26).

Tye, 25, wore a red and yellow varsity jacket and cargo pants for their scenes, while Sean, 61, stepped out in a grey hoodie and sweatpants.

Based on Shannon Burke‘s novel of the same name, Black Flies centers on two paramedics driving an ambulance through New York. Tye stars as young student preparing to go to medical school, while Sean plays a hardened veteran who’s considered one of the city’s best emergency medics.

The 61-year-old actor’s divorce from actress Leila George has been finalized, following the end of their marriage of a little over a year, via TMZ.

Julia Roberts and Sean Penn are getting fans excited for their new series!

The Oscar winners joined forces on the red carpet at the global premiere of their Starz limited series Gaslit on Monday (April 18) at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Julia and Sean were joined by co-stars Dan Stevens, Betty Gilpin, Darby Camp, Allison Tolman, J.C. Mackenzie, Chris Bauer, Patton Oswalt, Nat Faxon, Patrick Walker, and Raphael Sbarge.

Gaslit is “a modern take on Watergate that focuses on the untold stories and forgotten characters of the scandal – from Nixon’s bumbling and opportunistic subordinates to the deranged zealots aiding and abetting their crimes to the tragic whistleblowers who would eventually bring the whole rotten enterprise crashing down. The story will center on Martha Mitchell, played by Julia Roberts. A big personality with an even bigger mouth. Martha is a celebrity Arkansan socialite and wife to Nixon’s loyal Attorney General, John Mitchell, played by Sean Penn. Despite her party affiliation, she’s the first person to publicly sound the alarm on Nixon’s involvement in Watergate, causing both the Presidency and her personal life to unravel.”

The series premieres on April 24.

Sean Penn and Leila George are enjoying a trip to the dog park.

The 61-year-old two-time Oscar winner and the 30-year-old actress soaked up the sun as they took their dogs to the dog park on Saturday afternoon (Apilr 9) in Hollywood, Calif.

For their outing, Sean showed off his muscles in a sleeveless black shirt paired with flip-flops while Leila sported a black T-shirt and black shorts.

It was recently revealed that the Sean and Leila had finalized their divorce. Despite no longer being legally married, the two have remained close. Earlier this week, Sean and Leila were spotted mini-golfing together in New York City.

If you missed it, Sean recently shared what happened when he met Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.

Sean Penn and his ex-wife Leila George appear to still be very close!

Just two weeks after the former couple finalized their divorce, they were seen on a mini-golfing date. The 61-year-old actor and the 30-year-old actress were spotted together on Monday afternoon (April 4) in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City.

Sean and Leila dated for four years and then got married in July 2020. They separated just over a year later, in September 2021. The divorce was settled in March 2022 and The Blast reported “the couple had an iron-clad prenuptial agreement that laid out specifics of their finances in anticipation of any break-up.”
