Ryan Seacrest‘s ex girlfriend Shayna Taylor posted a very cryptic quote amid their split.

If you don’t know, Ryan and Shayna split for the third time recently, and he was spotted with another woman in new photos.

Shayna posted on her Instagram Story (according to People), “You will never need to convince the right person to love you. No matter what, you cannot change them, make them do the work, or get them to commit to you if they’re not ready to show up. Change must be inspired from within, and actions are always louder than words.”

Ryan Seacrest has called it quits with longtime girlfriend Shayna Taylor, seven years after they first met.

The 45-year-old American Idol host and radio star met Shayna, 28, back in March 2013 through mutual friends and they had an on-and-off relationship throughout the years.

A rep for Ryan confirmed the split to JustJared.com and said, “Ryan and Shayna decided to end their romantic relationship amicably some time ago. They remain good friends, each other’s biggest supporters and will always cherish their time together as a couple.”

Ryan jokingly talked about his “third” anniversary with Shayna while co-hosting Live! With Kelly and Ryan last month.

Ryan was just spotted in Cabo San Lucas holding hands with another woman, in photos released by Daily Mail.

Ryan Seacrest took an opportunity this morning (May 1) to talk about his relationship with girlfriend Shayna Taylor.

During the Live! With Kelly & Ryan today, the -year-old TV personality made a point to “happy third anniversary to Shayna” after recognizing his anniversary as Kelly‘s co-host.

“It is our third time together. So we’ve gotten together, broken up, gotten together, broken up. This is number three of being together. So we’re celebrating as well,” Ryan shared.

“It’s an eight-year run, but it’s our third run together,” Ryan added. “So we celebrate each trial…listen, nothing’s perfect. You just keep trying until you get it right.”

He later joked in his conversation with Kelly after she called relationships roller coasters, “You know, when we drive by an amusement park, I always look at the roller coaster and go, ‘Look, there we are’. It’s all definitely upside down loops. It’s no Thunder Mountain, it’s definitely the Mind Bender.”

Just recently, Ryan shared what his holiday plans were with Shayna ahead of the new year.

The 44-year-old TV personality revealed in a new interview with People what he will be doing for the holidays this year.

“I’ll be with my whole family,” Ryan shared. “We’ll be in Los Angeles, and we’ll spend Christmas Eve together, [which is my birthday]. We’ll do a traditional birthday fondue, which we’ve done forever. Christmas Day we’ll do in L.A. as well, and then I’ll head out to N.Y. for the show.”

Ryan will be hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest for the 15th time this year.

After reconciling with on-again/off-again girlfriend Shayna Taylor earlier this year, Ryan revealed that the two of them like to have some alone time during the holidays.

“We like to do something on our own before Christmas,” Ryan shared. “Whether it’s traveling to a city for a couple nights or spending time at home before family arrives, it’s nice to get to spend some time together and reflect on the year. We’ll try to do that again this year.”

Ryan Seacrest leads the way out of Nobu restaurant after grabbing lunch with girlfriend Shayna Taylor and a few friends on Friday afternoon (November 22) in Malibu, Calif.

The 44-year-old TV personality kept things casual in a black sweater and dark jeans while the 27-year-old model looked cool in a white sweater and red, floral-print skirt as they stepped out for a bite to eat.
