Beloved actor Sidney Poitier‘s cause of death has been officially released on his death certificate.

The legendary star passed away at the age of 94 on Thursday (January 6).

The acclaimed actor, who became the first Black man to win Best Actor at the Oscars, passed away at the age of 94, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell confirmed Friday (January 7), via The Independent.

Woody Allen gives his longtime friend Diane Keaton a hug while honoring her at the American Film Institute’s 2017 Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute on Thursday (June 8) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Diane had support from a legendary group of friends at the event, including Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino, Warren Beatty, Martin Short, Jane Fonda, Steve Martin, Candice Bergen, Sidney Poitier, George Stevens Jr., Richard Dreyfuss, and many more.

Woody called Diane a “woman who is great at everything,” but he also roasted her and joked about her she has been with the “most charismatic men in Hollywood and they always dumped her.” He of course directed her in the movie Annie Hall, which won her an Oscar.

The musical is about Berry‘s life and how he started Motown. It features over 40 classic songs and you can see it now in Los Angeles through June 7. Get your tickets!

Sandra Bullock runs into Sidney Poitier while heading to grab dinner at Craig’s restaurant on Friday (November 8) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Earlier in the day, the 49-year-old actress was spotted chatting up a few pals while picking up her adorable son Louis, 3, in Studio City.

“She was having a much better hostess career than I was,” actress Jennifer Coolidge recently said about Sandra on The Talk. “She was actually the hostess and I was the cocktail waitress. She ended up getting my shifts because I had such bad attendance. Sandra was incredibly popular, she would’ve won Miss Congeniality at the restaurant. Everybody loved her.”

FYI: Sandra is carrying a Marni bag while picking up Louis.
