The Gilded Age is returning for a third season on HBO!

The season two finale aired this past weekend and all episodes are now available to stream on Max. Total premiere-night viewing for the second season grew for six consecutive weeks, culminating in a series high for the season two finale.

Ashlie Atkinson is a beloved character actress who currently plays Mrs. Fish on the HBO series The Gilded Age and she’s reacting to being mentioned in a hilarious Grindr conversation, which is going viral after being shared online.

For those who don’t know, Grindr is the world’s largest social networking app for LGBTQ people and is known for primarily being a hookup app.

Twitter user @andyrockcandy shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with someone who said, “I’m getting a group of guys together for some fish play, interested?” Andy responded saying he wasn’t sure what that meant.

HBO Drops 'The Gilded Age' Season 2 Teaser Trailer, Release Date Finally Announced!

Season one of HBO’s hit new series The Gilded Age finished airing back in March 2022 and fans have been eagerly waiting news of season two. We finally have something to share!

The network just announced that the eight-episode second season will premiere on HBO on Sunday, October 29 at 9pm ET/PT. The show will also be available to stream on Max.

Here’s the official logline: The American Gilded Age was a period of immense economic change, of great conflict between the old ways and brand new systems, and of huge fortunes made and lost. Season two of The Gilded Age begins on Easter morning 1883, with the news that Bertha Russell’s bid for a box at the Academy of Music has been rejected. Through the eight episodes of the season, we watch as Bertha challenges Mrs. Astor and the old system and works to not only gain a foothold in Society, but to potentially take a leading role in it. George Russell takes on his own battle with a growing union at his steel plant in Pittsburgh. In the Brook House, Marian continues her journey to find her way in the world secretly teaching at a girls school while much to everyone’s surprise Ada begins a new courtship. Of course, Agnes approves of none of it. In Brooklyn, the Scott family begins to heal from a shocking discovery, and Peggy taps into her activist spirit through her work with T. Thomas Fortune at the NY Globe.”
