There have been so many casting updates for The Last of Us season 2!

If you don’t know, season one of the hit HBO drama debuted in January of 2023 to massive success, and fans have been eager for season two updates. Now, we have several.

There are 4 returning cast members from season one, and we now know who will portray the pivotal roles of Abby, Dina, and more.

The cast for the second season of The Last of Us is really coming together!

HBO’s show starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey became a breakout success when it premiered in 2023. The Hollywood strikes slowed down production on the second season, but we’ve gotten a lot of exciting casting news in 2024.

Nick Offerman is telling homophobes to back off.

At the 2024 Independent Spirit Awards on Sunday (February 25), the 53-year-old actor won the award for Best Supporting Performance in a New Scripted series for his role as Bill in The Last of Us.

Season 1, episode 3 of the HBO series saw Nick‘s character live through the show’s zombie apocalypse alongside his lover Frank, played by Murray Bartlett.

During his acceptance speech onstage, Nick took the opportunity to slam homophobic critics of the show.

Catherine O’Hara has officially joined the cast of The Last of Us in a mysterious role.

On Friday (February 2), it was confirmed that the 69-year-old Scitt’s Creek alum was would appear on the star-studded HBO show’s second season alongside returning stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.

The news comes just a few days after she confirmed that she was in negotiations and revealed a personal connection to the series.
