The first trailer for season two of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is here!

Disney+ are making some exciting announcements about their TV lineup.

The streamer revealed the premiere dates for some of their highly anticipated new and returning series at the Television Critics Association Summer 2022 Press Tour on Wednesday (August 3).

One of the biggest takeaways is that the new Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will debut slightly later than was originally planned. Another exciting development is the official premiere date for Dancing with the Stars season 31, which will be making its debut on Disney+ this fall.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers has recruited Josh Duhamel for the upcoming second season.

THR reports that the 49-year-old actor will fill in the void left by Emilio Estevez, who departed the show ahead of the new season.

Josh will play a new character in the Disney+ series named Gavin Cole, a former NHL player-turned-coach who is described as inspirational, charming and hardcore as he is big on the hockey metaphor that applies to life.

He runs the super-intense summer hockey institute where the Mighty Ducks land for season two.

Josh will join Lauren Graham and Brady Noon on the show, which starts filming soon.

Disney+ has announced that the series, which was a follow up series to the original film franchise, will be back for a second season on the streaming service.

Lauren Graham, Brady Noon and Emilio Estevez all star in the series, which will kick off production on season two early next year.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is set in present day Minnesota where the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team.

After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Estevez), they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.

Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham and DJ Watts also star in the show.
