Drew Carey is reacting to the death of Bob Barker.
On Saturday (August 26), it was announced that the legendary host of The Price Is Right had died at the age of 99.
Later in the day, Drew, 65, took to social media to mourn Bob‘s death.

Bob Barker has sadly died.
The iconic host of The Price Is Right for 35 years passed away at the age of 99, his publicist announced on Saturday (August 26).
“It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World’s Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker has left us,” Bob‘s publicist Roger Neal shared in a statement with Today.

Episodes from the beloved game show’s Bob Barker era will be the sole content on a brand new channel from Fremantle and Pluto TV.
The channel, titled The Price Is Right: The Barker Era, will launch on December 1 and it will provide 24/7 broadcasts of the game show. The episodes will include fan-favorite ones and also ones that haven’t been seen since their original air dates.
Bob Barker was the host of the game show from 1972 until his final show in 2007. He earned 17 Emmy Awards for his work on the show and he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Emmys in 1999. Drew Carey has been hosting for the last 13 years.
“The Price is Right is classic feel-good TV and a part of television history with beloved host Bob Barker at the helm,” said Amy Kuessner, SVP of Content Strategy and Global Partnerships at Pluto TV (via Deadline). “These iconic game shows have not been televised in 40 years, and Pluto TV is thrilled to be the exclusive home of these classics, as they bring our viewers back in time to a treasured era of television.”

George Gray, the announcer on the game show The Price Is Right, is currently in the hospital after suffering three heart attacks this week.
The 53-year-old television personality woke up with chest pains on early Monday morning and his wife called 911 after his condition deteriorated, according to TMZ.
George suffered his first heart attack while in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The second heart attack happened while he was taking a walk in the hospital and the third heart attack took place while he was on the operating table to get a third stent in his artery.
After that third heart attack, which reportedly was a “massive” one, George was given a quadruple bypass. He thankfully is in “stable condition” right now.
George is crediting coronavirus for keeping him alive though because he would’ve been on vacation in Thailand right now. He thinks if he was there, he wouldn’t have been able to survive the heart attack.
