The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On is back!

Season 2 of the hit Netflix dating reality TV series will debut on with episodes 1–8 on August 23, and Episodes 9 and 10 premiering on August 30.

In the show, one partner in each relationship is ready to settle down and pop the question, while the other is dragging their feet to the aisle, so one person delivers an ultimatum.

Over eight weeks, the couples will split and enter into a trial marriage with a person from one of the other couples to decide whether they’re ready to marry or move on.

Nick and Vanessa Lachey return to host, as five couples feel out their relationships.

Meet the five couples who will star in The Ultimatum Season 2…

The Ultimatum is coming back this week!

The first season of the Netflix hit show, which premiered last year.

The show followed eight couples on the brink of their engagement.

After one person issued an Ultimatum in the relationship, they start a trial marriage with one of the show’s co-stars, living with a new partner of their choice from the show for three weeks.

At the end of the three weeks, they moved in with their original partner and must decide whether they want to stay together and get engaged, leave solo or pursue things with their new trial marriage partner.

Netflix has dropped the first teaser for the all new season of The Ultimatum, and it will feature all queer couples.

The first look at the new season was revealed during the Love is Blind live reunion, and revealed that Sweet Magnolias star JoAnna Garcia Swisher will take over hosting duties.

“‘The Ultimatum’ universe is expanding to showcase more stories of love, relationships and the ups and the downs of commitment. In ‘The Ultimatum: Queer Love,’ five new couples, made up of women and nonbinary people, are at a crossroads in their relationship,” the official logline reads.

“One partner is ready for marriage, the other may have doubts. An ultimatum is issued. And in just over eight weeks, each couple will either get married, or get out, after they each choose new potential partners in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different futures.”

The Ultimatum: Queer Love is expected to debut on May 24 on Netflix. Watch the teaser below!

Nick and Vanessa Lachey are all about trust.

During The Ultimatum‘s first season reunion episode, Vanessa said she had “mixed feelings” after learning that contestant April Marie had gone through her ex-boyfriend Jake Cunningham‘s phone without his permission.

She then admitted, “I mean, I know there was a time in my life when I did it.”

Here’s the synopsis: Six different couples, on the verge of marriage. One partner is ready to get married, the other isn’t quite as sure. An ultimatum is issued – and in just over eight weeks, they must commit to marriage, or move on. In the meantime, each will choose a new potential partner from one of the other couples, in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different possible futures. The series is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

The show will debut in two parts: most of the episodes are now available with the remaining episodes dropping on April 13.
