Good Morning To All JP Fans

    Angelina

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_ZLP1TbaUY

  • aimee

    Awesome!

  • SALT

a summer 2017 release means that Brad will be filming the movie probably in spring/summer next year. So its pretty clear to me that he wont do either Africa or the Romantic WW movie. I really hope he does Africa but at this point is just wishful thinking of my part. And what will Angie do until then? The other movie Christian Berger talked about?

  • Bumble

I wonder id Brad will have long hair or a different hair style this time, ether way he will look mighty fine, bring on WWZ2 cant wait!.

  • Lily

I hope Brad will have shorter hair in the sequel.

  • wika

Well he could be filming something this fall…. Angelina probably has something in the works, lol, she ain’t ticky she get offers all the time (re: Sony hacks)

  • Felinelilly

Brad looked so sexy with his longer hair, especially when he wore it in a loose ponytail.

  • SALT

There are rumors that the sequel might have a villain (like in the books) that will create the zombies and try to destroy Gerry Lane and his family. Angie could well do that villain lol. I always wanted her to play a villain. (Mal doesn’t count since we know she inst a full villain).

  • toastie postie

Love your new pix. That look in Wanted is one of my favorites. Don’t mess with this woman, it says. One bad mamma jamma!

  • SALT

That part of wanted in the store was my favorite. That and the end in the train. I really liked wanted. Like Girl Interrupted the supporting role steeled the movie completely.

  • SALT

I like it too. But I always remember that was such an hard time for them. He was editing WWZ with all that problems and at the same time Angie doing the mastectomy procedures.

  • toastie postie

    Totally agree.

  • GroundControl500

Well, this is exciting news. I wasn’t sure they’d do a follow up but as someone who read the book many moons ago and enjoyed many of its stories I’d be happy to see if any of them are incorporated.
Maybe they feel more confident announcing a release date because they worked out the CGI kinks in the first film.

  • GroundControl500

Gerry has no time for a haircut – he’s fighting Zeds.
Though for safety’s sake it might be safer to have nothing the Zeds can grab onto.
Wonder how that Israeli soldier’s hand – non-hand – is doing? Poor baby.

  • Felinelilly

    LOL!

  • Felinelilly

Oh that’s right it was at that time! I admit I haven’t seen WWZ yet because I was so sick at the time and when it came out at the theater in my neighborhood I was too ill to go and I was so mad. I haven’t gotten the dvd yet but I will.

  • Lily

    Lol

  • Lily

The scene of Gerry cutting the Israeli girl’s hand is so badass. If you read on twitter, many people consider it their fav part in the movie. Many find Gerry’s family is annoying and his wife is too ugly for him. Lol

  • well

The book was amazing and I really liked what they did with the film*- SO GOOD. Brad at the end charging down that hallway full of zombies- like a boss! Also loved the behind glass scene. The framing device of nature gone wrong is excellent & timely.

*Just like Moneyball- I loved the book & Brad made sure it was a great film, too. Both challenging adaptations that really worked- not just copying the book- really added to it. I have high hopes for TBS (another great book), too.

  • well

Mireille E is really pretty & very talented- they said the same stuff about Cate B & Jessica C- plus, some people don’t like “gingers”- sad. It’s not fair to these ladies, since not many women can come close to Angie, who is not just gorgeous & talented, but beautiful on the inside, too.

  • William Bradley & The Jolie

    Afternoon People.

The Weave is slipping. No solo stories about her great appearance on either the Daily Fail or here at Jared?!

And why is Disney letting George wear that tequila shirt while promoting a family friendly flick? That side business must really not be doing well, if he has to be this persistent and tacky in the promotion of it.

Now, on to more pleasant topics. I still think BP or The AJP will film in the Fall. Then one of them films something in the Winter/Spring of 2016. And then one of them films something in the Summer of 2016. Just a question of what film it will be. I think that Fall 2015 through Fall 2016 is going to be a very busy time for them.

Speaking of speculation on film, there is talk that Marty’s film Silence may come out late Fall 2015 and will be Paramount’s big Oscar push. Could he then be free to direct Cleo in the Winter/Spring of 2016?

  • wika

Lol omg honestly all these female leads look better than ticky. Anyhow, that just shows that everyone only wants to see Brad with Angelina on screen, LOL!

  • William Bradley & The Jolie

What I love about Mireille is that she looked age appropriate to Brad’s character. It’s a refreshing rarity in Hollywood, esp. in light of Maggie G.’s recent revelation.

  • Lily

Tbh Mireille really didn’t look very good next to Brad in WWZ, but few woman look good next to Brad except Angie. I wonder if Gerry family is returnimg to the sequel or they will go complete different plot with new cast except Brad stays.

  • William Bradley & The Jolie

I hope they talk bit more about the background of Brad’s character in WWZ2. I am not buying that he was just a UN inspector of some kind. That man had way too many military type skill sets (implied and demonstrated) himself. And the way he just, without hesitation, cut that Israeli soldier’s hand off? Nah. What did he do before he joined the UN? That’s one of the things I want to know.

Brad is a great driver, great mover, great fighter (WWZ stunt coordinator). Brad is a wonderfully generous actor (ME)…

  • Lily

Brad has the best natural hair even better than women’s hair, way better than Aniston’s hair. And he doesn’t spend tons money or time in taking care of it. It is just naturally he has damn good genes.

  • aimee

Yes I agree! And she is beautiful in her own way.

  • toastie postie

    Yummy Brad.
Was this Angelina’s first red carpet after her mastectomy?

  • toastie postie

That he does and he has passed them on to his kids, as Angelina has. :0)

  • well

The whole book is filled with dozens of telling anecdotes that were disallowed from the narrator’s* UN report, which was written ten years after WWZ. We don’t get much about the narrator’s background, but get insight into his character simply because of the bold decision to compile these “truths” of WWZ…even if Gerry didn’t have some sort of formal military training, you get the sense that he is decisive, good in a crisis & a critical thinker- the book is full of people of all backgrounds who step up in crisis and help others, but also of those who break down and/or take advantage of others (become a different monster- worse than a zombie in some ways)…I liked that the movie showed not just the selfish people, but people that helped- like the guy who gave Brad medicine for his kid.

*We never get the narrator’s name in the book- now we know him as Gerry Lane (Brad’s character)

  • Lily

Did you see wwz unrated version? Unrated version is so bloody, like the scene of cutting the girl’s hand off, in theater version, you don’t see blood, in unrated vetsion, blood is pouring. It is horror.

  • William Bradley & The Jolie

Oh, I am familiar with the anecdotal nature of the book and that the narrator is basically a conduit for these stories. But I am curious as to Gerry Lane’s background as constructed for the film, not who he is supposed to be in the book.

  • toastie postie

Yes, I did. Lucky for my daughter that it didn’t show in the theater, otherwise her poor arm would have had bruises from my grabbing it in fright. :0)

  • well

    Yes!

  • Passing Through

UGH!!!! Just saw the French Open draw. I KNEW as soon as I saw that Raonic had withdrawn that Gael Monfils was going to be in Roger’s quarter of the draw. The only good news is that Butt Digging Boy is in the same quarter as Nole, so if Nole is going to win the French he’s going to have to go through Butt Digger to do it – as it should be.

Meanwhile, Roger’s going to have to hope that someone in an earlier round takes out Monfils…because the last 2 times they’ve played on clay Roger was a) injured at the Davis Cup and sucked; and b) Sucked in Monte Carlo just because he sucked that day. Monfils is tough for him to play becaus he’s flashy, hits big, serves big and he’s fast and can retrieve a lot of balls. I don’t really see anyone in Monfils’ section who’s going to do Roger any favors though. Maybe the up-coming “young gun” Dominic Thiem, but I’m not holding my breath. The good news is Monfils is “mercurial” and frequently gets disinterested during matches and gives up (See: 2014 US Open where he was up 2 sets to love against Roger and Roger won it in 5…and then got blitzed by Cilic in the semis because he was still tired from the Monfils match).

  • Beck

The 2 Bayona movies I have seen (has he done anything else of note?) the impossible and the orphanage, were both really solid, so I think there’s a good chance I’ll enjoy the sequel, even if I am so not a zombie movie person.

  • well

I agree- both of those movies were excellent; the JPs like working with artists. I really like dystopian stuff (inc zombies), but it is getting a bit overdone/hacky both on film & TV. If you haven’t seen WWZ def start with the “normal” version, not the unrated one mentioned below- it might be too scary!

  • Beck

I did see it, and I thought it was fine for what it was, just not my thing. But I wanted to support Brad, I see all his and Angie’s movies if they’re playing in my theater. Especially WWZ after it got ripped to shreds sight unseen in the media. I still can’t believe how hard they tried to kill the movie, and it still ended up a hit, with decent reviews to boot. I wonder what angle they’ll take this time, will the media pretend like there wasn’t a hit out on the first movie leading up to the sequels release and just leave it alone this time or will they try the same thing again hoping this will be the disaster they were so desperate to turn the first one into

  • The Real Deal

But….but….but, I thought the first movie bombed, I thought that Paramount went broke and fired Brad. The troll lied to me…noooooooooooooooo!!!

  • JPFamily

Good day all – wishing you a Fun Friday!
Great news about WWZ 2, and I hope we get to discover more about Gerry’s backstory in the sequel.

Hi toastie – thank you so much for the video, another gorgeous one.

Seriously, did Ticky forget to pay Huvsy this month because I don’t see any headlines about her joining instagram or attending the Red Nose Day thing.

  • toastie postie

Thanks for all those goodies. Shi’s looks are amazing.

  • Lily

That shiloh, angie and Brad side by side, shiloh is truly a mix of her patents.

  • Passing Through

BTW – I read the Variety article about the WWZ release date and Bayona still being the director. So, I now concede, this is NOT the WWII movie that Brad’s allegedly doing this fall. I confess…I’m bummed. A Nazi-inspired zombie origins? I’m tell you – that’s the bestest idea evah! Well, right after Brad dumping TIcky and having 6 kids with Angie. LOL!

  • William Bradley & The Jolie

I must say I was surprised that more trash sitea (at least the English language ones) didn’t repeat that bs from Star ragazine. Not even the Daily Fail. Don’t know how it may have spread in international publications.

Sigh, is it too much to hope that Star realizes that people see through the bs and give it up?

  • http://thecompletehistoryofbradandangelina.blogspot.com/ Lady Valeria

I think Mireille is VERY beautiful….she’s not as standout/”exotic” as Angelina’s beauty is, but she’s more of a Golden Age of Hollywood beauty to me.

  • Lily

I saw Paltrow’s skit for red nose day, she mentioned she won Oscar immediately, she tried hard to remind people she was an Oscar winner, what a freakin egocentric.
