Minka Kelly Had ‘Pretty Complicated’ Relationship With Mom
Minka Kelly shoots some scenes for Charlie’s Angels by the beach on Monday (September 12) in Miami, Fla.
The 31-year-old actress was joined on set by co-star Ramon Rodriguez, who plays John Bosley in the upcoming ABC series.

Minka recently opened up about her “pretty complicated” relationship with her mom Maureen, who passed away in 2008 from colon cancer.
“She was 5’11” – legs up to her ears, gorgeous. She got along on that for as long as she could,” Minka told Cosmopolitan (via Us Weekly) about her mother, who used to be a stripper.
Her father, onetime Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay “wanted to try the family thing,” but her mom “was too busy having fun. It wasn’t like he didn’t want to be part of our lives.”
But “by the time [my mom] passed I was holding her. I was with her until her last breath. We made it,” she added about making peace with Maureen.
