Channing Tatum Finalizes 'Gambit' Deal Despite Exit Reports

Channing Tatum has closed his deal to star in the upcoming movie Gambit, according to THR.

It was reported a few days ago that the 35-year-old actor’s deal for the superhero flick was falling through because his team couldn’t reach an agreement with the studio, 20th Century Fox.

THR‘s sources say that there were some rough patches in the negotiations, but Channing‘s “participation hardly was in any real danger because the actor already had invested quite a bit in the superhero part.”

Channing has been attached to the project for some time now and he is also a producer on the film. It currently has a release date of October 7, 2016.
