Melanie Rauscher Dead - 'Naked & Afraid' Star Dies at 35

Melanie Rauscher has sadly died.

The former contestant on Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid was reportedly found dead on July 17 in Prescott, Arizona, at the age of 35.

The Prescott Police Department confirmed to TMZ that she was dog sitting in the city, and when the homeowners returned, they found her dead in their guest room, reportedly near several cans of dust cleaner.

It’s unclear whether she consumed the cans’ contents.

The authorities determined that there were no signs of foul play or drug paraphernalia. She did not leave a suicide note. The Yavapai County Medical Examiner will determine Melanie‘s cause of death.

Melanie was a contestant on Naked and Afraid in 2013, and the spinoff show Naked and Afraid XL in 2015.
