Darren Criss and Julianne Hough hosted the first hour of the 2022 Tony Awards this past weekend and they celebrated their big night together with a star-studded after party.

The two actors, who are both starring on Broadway right now, teamed up with The House of Suntory for their after party on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

Darren‘s American Buffalo co-star Laurence Fishburne and Julianne‘s POTUS co-stars Rachel Dratch, Julie White, and Lea DeLaria were among the guests at the event.

Also in attendance at the party were Darren‘s Glee co-star Lea Michele and many of her Spring Awakening cast members following their Tonys performance, as well as Jesse Williams, Zach Braff, Sarah Paulson, Billy Porter, and Andrew Garfield.

The part was presented by Armanino. Hungry guests were treated to Shake Shack upon arrival and served Japanese cocktails including Toki Highballs and Roku Gin Cherry Blossom Martinis.

Backstage photos from the 2022 Tony Awards have been released and there are some shots of the Spring Awakening cast.

Former co-stars and longtime pals Jonathan Groff and Skylar Astin were seen sharing a friendly kiss at one point while backstage at the event on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hal in New York City.

The cast of Spring Awakening reunited at the Tonys to perform “Touch Me,” 15 years after the show won the Best Musical award.

Jonathan and Skylar have another thing in common these days…. they’ve both played Seymour in the current Off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors. Jonathan originated the role in the production back in 2019 and Skylar is currently playing the iconic part right now.

Hugh Jackman has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss performances of The Music Man for the next week.

The 53-year-old actor just announced that he tested positive on Monday morning (June 13), hours after he attended the 2022 Tony Awards as both a nominee and performer.

Hugh will be out of the show through June 21 and his standby, Max Clayton, will be performing the role of Harold Hill for all performances through then. Sutton Foster is still scheduled to appear in the performances.

John Stamos is voicing his frustrations with the 2022 Tony Awards.

Ahead of the ceremony on Sunday (June 12), the 58-year-old Full House actor called out the awards show for not including the late Bob Saget in the In Memoriam segment, seemingly finding out about Bob‘s exclusion from the list after the show’s dress rehearsal earlier in the day.

There was a mini Hamilton reunion on stage at the 2022 Tony Awards!

Renee Elise Goldsberry and Phillipa Soo presented an award together on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Their co-star, and the show’s writer, Lin-Manuel Miranda was also in attendance at the annual show.

Some more Broadway stars who were at the Tonys to present awards included Danielle Brooks, Patina Miller, Bebe Neuwirth, and former The King & I co-stars Kelli O’Hara and Ruthie Ann Miles.

FYI: Phillipa is wearing a Bibhu Mohapatra dress. Kelli is wearing a Bibhu Mohapatra dress, a Judith Leiber bag, and jewelry by Lang Antiques and Stephen Russell. Danielle is wearing a Viktorluna dress.

The queens from the musical Six gave the final performance of the night at the Tonys!

Mallory Maedke, Samantha Pauly, Joy Woods, Abby Mueller, Adrianna Hicks, Brittney Mack, and Andrea Macasaet performed a mash-up of “Ex-Wives” and “Six” at the 2022 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The show was nominated for eight awards, including Best Musical, and it won two prizes – Best Original Score and Best Costume Design of a Musical. See photos of writers Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss accepting their award in the gallery!

After the performance, host Ariana DeBose pointed out that Mallory is an understudy and dance captain for the show and she filled in for the Tonys performance with just 12 hours notice.
