Drew Barrymore just did Adam Sandler‘s fans a huge favor amid rumors of a potential Happy Gilmore sequel.
If you missed it, one of Adam‘s costars from the 1996 classic recently hinted that the actor was developing a sequel. In fact, Adam reportedly had the first draft of a script finished.
In a clip from The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew reached out to her 50 first Dates costar to find out if the rumors were true. She got some good news, too!

The cast of Noah Baumbach‘s mysterious Netflix movie is starting to come together.
The director has lined up more than 20 popular stars to appear in the cast of the movie, which has been billed as “a funny and emotional coming-of-age-film about adults.” He co-wrote the currently untitled project with Emily Mortimer. Amy Pascal and David Heyman are also stepping up to co-produce.
While details about the script are still bathed in mystery, we do have a better idea about who will appear in the project. The list includes a famed director and quite a few A-list actors!

Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late.”
Spaceman begins streaming on Netflix on March 1.

Carey Mulligan and Adam Sandler are hitting the red carpet at the 2024 Berlinale International Film Festival.
The co-stars posed for photos together at the premiere of their new Netflix movie Spaceman on Wednesday evening (February 21) held at Berlinale Palast in Berlin, Germany.
The 55-year-old actress presented her Murder Mystery co-star with the People’s Icon Award at the event on Sunday (February 18) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Adam was joined at the event by his wife Jackie and joked on stage that he thought he was getting the People’s Sexiest Man Alive honor.
