There was a mini Boy Meets World reunion this weekend!

Ben Savage took to Instagram on Saturday night (July 28) to share a photo with his former co-star Matthew Lawrence.

The two reunited to celebrate Matt‘s engagement to former Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke.

“Congratulations on your engagement @matthewlawrence. So happy for you and @cherlyburke,” Ben captioned the below photo.

Matt and Cheryl announced their engagement back in May.

Will Friedle has revealed that he has gotten married, though he refers to his wife just as “Mrs. Squirrels.”

The 40-year-old actor played the role of Eric Matthews on the beloved series Boy Meets World and he made some references to the series while tweeting about the occasion.

“I’m sorry you weren’t all invited to the wedding. #RandomSundayApology #BoyMeetsWife,” he tweeted.

“Flying home for my wedding today…yup…sounds weird even when I type it! #CantWait,” Will tweeted last week to tease the happy news. “I appreciate all of the love but I get married this Sunday…still…all of your shout outs have made us so happy! #YoureTheBest.”

The latest episode of the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World featured a moment you’ve been waiting for for quite some time.

Angela (Trina McGee-Davis) finally made her debut on the show to reunite with Shawn (Rider Strong) fifteen years after she left for Europe and ended their relationship. It was a Boy Meets World reunion!

“I think what the audience wants and expects will not be what the audience is going to receive,” series creator Michael Jacobs told E! News. “The reason is that we decided we wanted to write what was real. Instead of doing a television ending, we looked very closely at where the characters were when we left the series and what really would’ve happened to them. And that’s what’s going to happen. The relationship is lovely and the episode ends that they’re in a good position, but I think there’s a big surprise to come.”

Ben Savage, Rider Strong, and their Boy Meets World co-stars meet up while attending a panel for their show at the ATX Television Festival on Friday (June 7) in Austin, Tex.

The guys were joined by Matthew Lawrence (Jack), Betsy Randle (Mom), Trina McGee (Angela), Maitland Ward Baxter (Rachel), and Lily Nicksay (Morgan) for a panel after a screening of the show’s series finale.
