Derek Hough thought his friendship with Jennifer Lopez was over after he accidentally did something to her that could have ended really badly.

The two stars worked together on the NBC reality competition series World of Dance. They were on the judging panel for all four seasons of the series, which ended in 2020.

Derek explained during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show this week that he thought he lost Jennifer as a friend forever following a mishap while they were dancing together.

Dancing With the Stars paid tribute to late head judge Len Goodman with a special dance during tonight’s (October 24) “Most Memorable Year” episode.

The special tribute was choreographed by Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson, and featured 24 pro dancers who have appeared on the show through it’s 32 seasons.

Brooke Burke is setting the record straight on the comments she recently made about Derek Hough.

The 52-year-old host and TV personality won season seven of Dancing With the Stars with the pro dancer, now judge, and during an appearance on Cheryl Burke‘s podcast, she said that dancing with him almost tempted her to have an affair.

At the time, she was married to actor and singer David Charvet.

“I just thought [Derek] was so young and green and safe. I had no idea he would be such a powerful, badass choreographer,” she said, adding, “Had I not been married… I would have actually hoped we would have had a love affair.”

Now, on the upcoming Monday (October 23) episode of Tamron Hall Show, Brooke is clearing the air on those comments.
