Jared Padalecki has some sweet words to share.

The 39-year-old Supernatural alum posted a tribute on Sunday (June 19) in honor of Father’s Day.

Jared shares three children with wife Genevieve: Tom, 10, Shep, 8, and Odette, 5, and he celebrated them in an emotional montage and with a heartwarming message.

The 39-year-old actor and the 40-year-old actress were seen going for a ride through the canals on Wednesday (July 21) during their trip to Venice, Italy.

The couple also roamed the streets of Venice and snapped some selfies while stopping in stores like Swarovski.

Jared celebrated his 39th birthday during the vacation and we have photos from the birthday dinner he had with some friends over the weekend.

There was some very public drama between Jared and his Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles a few weeks ago, but thankfully they cleared things up.

Jared Padalecki and his wife Genevieve are currently on a romantic vacation abroad!

The 39-year-old actor and the 40-year-old actress were spotted taking a boat ride in the canals of Venice, Italy on Tuesday (July 20).

Jared and Gen sat on the edge of the boat while getting a tour of the sites.

The couple is in town for a special reason – Jared‘s birthday. He turned 39 on Monday and he celebrated this weekend by having dinner with some friends in Portofino. We have photos of them arriving for the dinner party!

Jared Padalecki is celebrating his birthday abroad!

The Supernatural and Walker actor was spotted enjoying a boat ride with his wife Genevieve and another couple on Saturday (July 17) in Portofino, Italy.

Jared, Genevieve, and their friends were later spotted having dinner in town during their summer vacation. Two days, later he rang in his 39th birthday!

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki sit on stage during the PaleyFest panel for their show Supernatural on Tuesday night (March 20) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The guys were joined at the event by their wives Danneel Harris Ackles and Genevieve Cortese, as well as co-stars Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert.

Both Danneel and Genevieve have guest starred on the show throughout its 13 season run.

Executive producers Eugenie Ross-Leming, Brad Buckner, Robert Singer, and Andrew Dabb also appeared at the panel.

Jared Padalecki‘s wife Genevieve just launched her brand new blog, Now + Gen, and he wrote a really special letter to their three children.

The 34-year-old Supernatural star penned it for his sons Thomas, 5, and Shepherd, 3, and his daughter Odette, 3 months.

“Around Father’s Day, Jared wrote a letter to our children. It’s one of the most beautiful and special letters I have read, so I just had to share,” Genevieve said. “The kids may be a little too young to fully appreciate it, but one day I hope they read this and know what a great dad they have. When it comes to being a father, Jared has found his calling.”

“i realize fathers day was supposed to be about…well…’fathers’… praising them and thanking them and making them feel needed and appreciated,” Jared wrote. but, as the ‘father’ in this relationship, i wanted to change things up a bit. specifically, i wanted to take this opportunity, after my FIFTH fathers day (and counting), not to say ‘you’re welcome,’ but to say ‘thank you.’”

Then he listed all the things his kids have done, including “you’ve peed on me, pooped on me, and vomited on me (though not always necessarily in that order)” and “you’ve reduced me to tears whenever i witness you in pain.”

Then Jared goes on to thank them.

“thank you for letting me experience that special feeling you have when you know the world around you is sleeping,” he wrote. “thank you for making me wash my clothes more often than i used to (did your mother put you up to this?)”

“i have your back. now and always,” he continued. “though, i should warn you, sometimes ‘having your back’ will mean not letting you do something you think you want to. or, maybe it will even mean ‘scolding you’ when you’re doing something dangerous, or ‘correcting you’ when you’re frustrated and lashing out, or not quite being who your mother and i know you can be.”

He concluded, “you’ve humbled me. you’ve helped me rediscover the joy of discovery. you’ve turned my world upside down…and i wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Jared Padalecki and his wife, actress Genevieve Padalecki, had a very sweet Twitter exchange on Father’s Day!

The 36-year-old actor actress tweeted a video at the 34-year-old actor, saying, “To the best dad I know. Tom, Shep + Odette are so lucky to have you as, as am I. Love you to the moon and back @jarpad! 🌙ðŸ”💘 #FathersDay.”

Later, Jared tweeted back, “I couldn’t be the dad I am without the most amazing mother by my side. Thanks for fixing my mistakes ;)”

Jared and Genevieve have been married since 2010.
