Nick Carter Performs With Backstreet Boys at NYC Jingle Ball 2022 Amid Sexual Assault Claims

The Backstreet Boys huddle up for a group photo just ahead of hitting the stage at iHeartRadio Z100′s Jingle Ball 2022 held at Madison Square Garden on Friday night (December 9) in New York City.

Nick Carter joined his bandmates, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson, amid accusations of sexual assault.

The fan has accused him of bringing an underage fan onto his tour bus, giving her alcohol and then sexually assaulting her after a concert in 2001.

The claims have already cancelled the band’s planned ABC special.

The news comes just weeks after Nick suffered a personal loss with the death of his brother, Aaron.

The Backstreet Boys were joined on stage by Dua Lipa, Dove Cameron, Demi Lovato, Jax, Charlie Puth, and Ava Max. Tate McRae was also spotted at the event.

Backstreet Boys Say Ryan Gosling Told Them Their Band Was 'Never Gonna Work' (Video)

The Backstreet Boys stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (February 11) and revealed that their longtime pal Ryan Gosling didn’t always believe the band would work out.

The boy band were tasked by host Jimmy to put some of the most pervasive rumors of their career to rest, like their old roommate Ryan Gosling almost joining the band during his Mickey Mouse Club days.

“Long story short, we used to live in the same apartment complex when he was doing The Mickey Mouse Club. Him, Justin [Timberlake], Christina [Aguilera], Britney [Spears], all of them,” AJ McLean said. “We were playing basketball almost every other day. The group had started. I kept telling him how big this was gonna be. And he’s like, ‘Dude. New Kids [on the Block] already did it. This is never gonna work. Just shoot the ball.’”

“Cut to he was wrong and it did work,” McLean quipped. “It worked out for him too,” Nick Carter added.

The guys – which also includes members Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough – also talked about never feuding with *NSYNC, their first time singing together 26 years ago, how their band formed and how their band is like a marriage.
