There are several actors who have played the same TV role for decades on shows like All My Children, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless – and a few that have even held Guinness World Records for the longest run as the same character.

'Young & The Restless' Cast Members Ranked by Who've Been in the Most Episodes (Six Actors Have More Than 3,000!)

The Young and the Restless is one of the most popular soap operas in television history and the show is still going strong after 50 years on air.

We decided to take a look at which actors on the show have appeared in the most episodes. If you’re a fan of the show, then you know that many characters often get recast with new actors when someone decides to leave the show.

For example, Amelia Heinle has been playing the role of Victoria Newman since 2005, but the role was originally played by child actress Ashley Nicole Millan for eight years and then Heather Tom for 13 years. Now, Amelia has been in the role for 18 years!

Garrett Clayton is dapper and festive as he hits the red carpet at the 2017 Hollywood Christmas Parade Celebration held on Sunday (November 26) in Hollywood.

The 26-year-old Hairspray Live! star was joined at the event by CeeLo Green and his longtime girlfriend Shani James, Tara Reid and her tech entrepreneur boyfriend Ted Dhanik, Jermaine Dupri, Village People, Montel Williams, Kate Linder, Dr. Oz and Garrett‘s co-host Elizabeth Stanton.

“Co-Hosting 🌟#HollywoodChristmasParade w/ @lizmstanton. I know, it looks like I’m having 0% fun. Happy Holidays! 🎄,” Garrett captioned with his Instagram post at the event.

Courteney Cox, Renee Zellweger, Matt Bomer & More Stars Team Up to Defeat ALS!

Courteney Cox, Renee Zellweger, Matt Bomer and more stars are coming together for a great cause!

The actors walked in support of publicist Nanci Ryder as “Team Nanci” for the annual LA County Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday (October 15) at Exposition Park in Los Angeles.

Other celebrity team members included Justine Bateman, Bryan Lourd, Bruce Bozzi, Don Diamont, Cindy Ambuehl, Kylie Rogers and Kate Linder, plus more walk participants including Mari Winsor, Lara Flynn Boyle and Elizabeth Berkley.

After being diagnosed with ALS in 2014, Nanci and her friends formed “Team Nanci.” Together, they raised over $100,000 for the cause at this year’s walk. All funds raised supported The ALS Association Golden West Chapter in care services, public policy and research.
