One Piece is coming back!

The highly successful Netflix live action adaptation of the beloved series was renewed for a second season, which is due to hit the streamer sometime in 2025.

To tide fans over, a new anime adaptation from the One Piece manga, called The One Piece, is already on the way.

In an interview with Variety, One Piece co-showrunners Steven Maeda and Matt Owens said they would “definitely [be] taking [things] one step at a time” on Season 2, so we should stay tuned to see the latest updates on when production begins.

In the meantime, we can expect a certain amount of characters to return based on the adventures of Season 1.

One Piece is coming!

Netflix has revealed the cast for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the 1997 Eiichiro Oda manga series.

Here’s a plot summary of the original series, via Screenrant: “One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who aspires to become the King of the Pirates by acquiring the titular treasure, One Piece. In his pursuit, Monkey enlists a small crew known as the Straw Hat Pirates, and together they set sail on a ship named Going Merry while confronting other nefarious pirates in the East Blue.”

The franchise includes video games, animated movies, and an animated TV show that recently passed the 1000 episode mark. It later got a 10-episode order at Netflix in 2020 for a live-action edition.

The cast for Knights of the Zodiac has just been announced!

The Hollywood Reporter revealed the lead cast of the upcoming movie, which is based on the 1980s manga and anime series titled Saint Seiya.

Sean Bean, Famke Janssen, Madison Iseman and Diego Tinoco will all star in the live action adaption, alongside Nick Stahl, Mackenyu and Mark Dacascos.
