The WWE is full of action lately, including some electrifying returns to the ring!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen some incredible performers from the wrestling world get back into action with surprise appearances, including commentators and wrestlers alike. Some wrestlers were only gone for a few weeks, but others have been gone for months, or even years.

There has also been at least one very headline-making departure amid scandal.

After Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on Monday Night Raw earlier this week, the WWE has revealed that both wrestlers have been suspended indefinitely.

There’s a new DC Comics series coming, and Ava Duvernay is helping to pen the production!

The 48-year-old Selma filmmaker is set to team up with former Arrow writer and executive producer Jill Blankenship on a show for The CW based on Naomi, Variety reported Friday (December 4).

The series, called Naomi, follows “a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse. When a supernatural event shakes her hometown to the core, Naomi sets out to uncover its origins, and what she discovers will challenge everything we believe about our heroes.”

The character first debuted in her own standalone comic book series in 2019. In the comics, Naomi had energy-based powers, plus the ability to transform into a superpowered form that granted her incredible strength and other abilities.

The CW recently revealed the shows on their network heading for renewal and cancellation…
