Billy Eichner's New Movie 'Bros' Will Make History With an All-LGBTQ+ Cast

The cast of the upcoming movie Bros has been announced and the film will be making history as the first major studio film to feature an all-LGBTQ+ principal cast.

The movie will star Billy Eichner in the lead role and he also co-wrote the script with Nicholas Stoller, who will direct the movie.

The movie is about “two gay men maybe, possibly, probably, stumbling towards love. Maybe. They’re both very busy.”

“I could not be more proud or excited about the historic nature of the all openly LGBTQ+ cast of Bros. After queer actors have spent decades watching straight actors capitalize both artistically and professionally by playing LGBTQ+ characters, it is a long overdue dream come true to be able to assemble this remarkable, hilarious cast,” Billy said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

He continued, “And while Bros may be the first of its kind in several ways, my real hope is that it is only the first of many opportunities for openly LGBTQ+ ensembles to shine and show the world all we are capable of as actors, beyond just being the wacky sidekick, token queer or a straight movie star’s ‘gay best friend.’ And beyond all of that, this cast is fucking hysterical and you’re going to love them.”

Some of the LGBTQ+ actors will be playing heterosexual roles in the film.

Natalie Morales, Nicole Byer & Tony Hale Join the Cast of 'Rugrats' Reboot

There are some exciting new additions to the cast of Rugrats!

Deadline reports that Nicole Byer, Tony Hale and Natalie Morales have all been chosen to voice the adult roles in Paramount+’s Rugrats reboot.

Tony will play Chuckie’s father, Natalie will play Phil and Lil’s mother and Nicole will play Susie’s mom.

The cast also includes Ashley Rae Spillers and Tommy Dewey as Tommy’s parents, Anna Chlumsky and Timothy Simons as Angelica’s parents and Michael McKean, as Grandpa Lou Pickles.

The revival is set to debut on Paramount+ this spring and will feature the original cast members reprising their roles on the show.

Nickelodeon President Brian Robbins said of keeping the original cast and adding some new voices, “First of all, we have all the original babies back, all the original cast back, which we are thrilled to have. Some of the original actors — remember the show is 20-25+ years-old, and we thought there was an opportunity for new exciting comedic voices who grew up watching and being fans of the show and let them do cameos. So we are really excited about our adult cast on Rugrats.“

Actress Natalie Morales Explains Why Some Cuban-Americans, Including Her Family, Voted For Trump

Actress Natalie Morales, known for her work in Santa Clarita Diet and Parks & Recreation, is explaining her theory as to why some Cuban Americans, including family members of hers, voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 Election.

“I’m from Miami. I am a first generation daughter of Cuban refugees. My grandfather was a political prisoner. (This does not make me special, a lot of Miami has this exact family story.) Many Cuban Americans have been Republicans since Kennedy, who they feel betrayed them. I, unfortunately, have friends and some family in Miami that voted for Trump. They aren’t racist. They aren’t bad people who want bad things for the world. They are 10000% brainwashed,” she tweeted.

Natalie continued, “The ads, FB videos and misinformation targeting FL **SINCE BEFORE OBAMA** about how all Dems are radical socialist commies have been widely and continuously spread and also widely underestimated. And, they work. They work because they use and abuse the trauma of my people.”

She continued, “This applies to Cubans, but also Venezuelans and all the other Latinx people who fled from poverty and violent, oppressive regimes. The bs they see on FoxNews has made them TRULY scared of Bernie and anyone like him. Even Latina AOC.”
