Helen Mirren is stepping out for a dinner date with her husband!

The 78-year-old actress was seen leaving Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi on Sunday night (August 27) in Santa Monica, Calif. with her husband of 26 years, Taylor Hackford.

The couple smiled and held hands as they exited the restaurant following their dinner together.

Married in 1997, Helen and Taylor, a film director and former president of the Directors Guild of America, have known each other for more than 30 years.

Helen recently starred as the narrator in Greta Gerwig‘s hit film Barbie, which just became Warner Bros. highest grossing movie of all time having generated a profit of around $1.4 billion globally.

Helen‘s other recent projects include Fast X and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

There were so many stars at the Fast X: Road To Rome premiere!

Held at The Colosseum in Rome, Italy on Friday (May 12), Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, and John Cena hit the red carpet with all their co-stars in the movie.

Brie Larson, Rita Moreno, Meadow Walker, Jordana Brewster, Leo Abelo Perry, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Tyrese Gibson, Helen Mirren, Daniela Melchior, Scott Eastwood, and Alan Ritchson all walked the red carpet for the big celebration.

Meadow‘s husband, Louis Thornton-Allan, John‘s wife, Shay Shariatzadeh, Helen‘s husband, Taylor Hackford, and Jason‘s wife, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley were also there.

Helen Mirren and her husband Taylor Hackford are speaking out following the death of his son and her stepson, Rio Hackford.

Rio, who was best known for roles in The Mandalorian and American Crime Story, died at the age of 51.

Helen and Taylor said in a statement they “are both inspired by the life of our son and stepson, Rio Hackford, and heartbroken by his loss.”

The couple confirmed Rio‘s cause of death in the statement.

Helen Mirren shows off her spectacular silver gown while arriving at the 2021 Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday evening (September 1) in Venice, Italy.

The 76-year-old actress walked the red carpet along with her husband, Taylor Hackford, for the opening ceremony, which also served as the premiere of Madres Paralelas.

Helen wasn’t the only one in a jaw-dropped dress for the kick off of the festival as Cynthia Erivo and Adriana Lima also chose dazzling gowns.

Also seen on the red carpet were Cynthia‘s fellow jury members Sarah Gadon, Bong Joon-ho and Chloe Zhao.

Barbara Palvin, Sara Sampaio, Isabelle Huppert, Tia Taylor, Roberto Benigni, sisters Eliza and Amelia Spencer, Farhana Bodi, and Bianca Balti were also seen on the red carpet for the start of the annual film festival.

Helen Mirren catches up with Liam Neeson while attending the relaunch party for the reinvented and reimagined Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel on Tuesday (June 11) in London, England.

You might not have realized this, but the two stars were a couple decades ago!

The former couple reunited last year on The Graham Norton Show and opened up about their relationship in the 1980s.

“We didn’t date,” Helen said, clarifying that they were more serious than just dating. “We lived together for four years. We were a serious item for a while. Lucky me!”
