Reese Witherspoon is opening up about tough conversations she’s had with her children.
The Legally Blonde icon is a mom to Ava and Deacon, whom she shares with ex Ryan Phillippe, and Tennessee, whom she shares with ex Jim Toth.
During a recent podcast appearance, she spoke candidly about why it was important to let your children fail at things. Reese even revealed a time when she talked to her Ava about not being good at something.

The 46-year-old Legally Blonde icon shared a couple of photos of her kids – look-alike daughter Ava, 23 and sons Deacon, 19, and Tennessee, 10.
She also uploaded a new family photo of them featuring husband Jim Toth.

Reese Witherspoon recently joined the ownership group of Nashville Soccer Club and she supported the team at its inaugural game!
The Oscar-winning actress was joined by husband Jim Toth and sons Deacon, 18, and Tennessee, 9, while attending the game on Sunday (May 1) at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tenn.
Reese and Jim announced days ago that they invested in the team.
“As a Tennessee native, it is thrilling to see how much growth and development has come to our home state. One of the things that my whole family is most excited about is Nashville Soccer Club! The opportunity to go as a family and watch a world class team compete has been such an incredible experience,” Reese said in a statement. “The team, the management and the players have worked so hard to build this amazing organization and community. So, I’m thrilled to announce that my husband, Jim Toth, and I have made an investment in the club and are now a part of the ownership group moving forward. On behalf of Jim and our children, we are thrilled to be a part of the NSC family!”

Reese Witherspoon‘s appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show aired this week and she opened up about her Christmas wish.
“You know we are just doing the regular stuff. We are going to be with my mom and just hanging out with the whole family. We dress up,” she said.
Reese added, “Trying to get all of the family members in one picture is really my goal throughout the year… That’s all I want for Christmas. All I want for Christmas is all of my kids in one photo, smiling, hopefully smiling.”

The Oscar-winning actress took to Instagram to give fans a peek inside her Christmas at home with her husband Jim Toth, their eight-year-old son Tennessee, and her two older children Ava, 21, and Deacon, 17.
“Merry Christmas from our family to yours! 🥰💫🎄*it only took about 1 hour , 2 bribes and 3 retakes to get all these people in one picture * a small Christmas miracle for MOM😁,” Reese captioned the Instagram post.
Ava and Deacon‘s dad Ryan Phillippe spent the holidays with his family this year.
