Skai Jackson Earns First 10 of 'DWTS' Season for Dance Dedicated to Cameron Boyce

Skai Jackson earned the top score of the season so far during her latest performance on Dancing With the Stars!

The 18-year-old Disney Channel star performed a Foxtrot set to the tune of John Legend‘s “Ordinary People” on Monday night (October 5) at the studio in Los Angeles.

Skai told her partner Alan Bersten that she was dedicating the dance to her late Jessie co-star Cameron Boyce, who died last year.

“I want this dance to be dedicated to Cameron, who was a really close friend of mine and co-star,” Skai said. “He was in my life for half of my life, which was crazy. We built up this bond for years and years and years.”

“He molded me into the person I am now. Of course I miss him every day, but I have him on my phone case so I get to see him,” she added through tears. ” It’s sad he’s not here to see it … I know that he would be really proud of me. He loved Dancing With the Stars and dancing.”

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba gave the performance a 10, marking the first 10 of the season. The other judges gave her 9s, so she earned a 28 overall. That’s the best score so far this season!

There was a big mix-up during the elimination portion of the night.

Skai Jackson Earned Just 15 Points For Her Samba on 'DWTS' & Fans Are Livid!

Skai Jackson completely set the dance floor on fire with her Samba performance on Dancing With The Stars week two on Tuesday (September 22).

With pro partner, and reigning pro champ, Alan Bersten, Skai danced to Neyo‘s “Miss Independent”, and during it, suffered some missteps.

With those missteps, the judges gave Skai and Alan just 15 points, which is six points lower than last week’s breakout performance – and fans were not happy about it.

“NOT SKAI GETTING 5′S IT WAS JUST A MINOR STUMBLE,” one fan reacted to the judges’ scores.

Another added, “I’m about to fight all of those judges for playing in @skaijackson face with them weak 5s. Y’all text SKAI to 21523 and vote for her since they wanna play on #DWTS”

“I’m failing to understand why Skai got such low a low score? I thought she killed it #DWTS,” one more wrote on Twitter.

You can vote for Skai and Alan online, and by text.

Skai Jackson Drops Restraining Order Against Bhad Bhabie

Skai Jackson is dropping her restraining order against Bhad Barbie.

TMZ reports that the 18-year-old actress has filed a dismissal in the case because Bhad Bhabie – real name Danielle Bregoli – has entered rehab.

“Because Danielle stopped threatening me after the Court ordered her to do so, and now that she’s made the decision to work on herself through rehab and therapy, I’m pleased that I don’t need to extend my restraining order,” Skai shared about the decision.

Danielle entered rehab earlier this month to help with her prescription pill addiction and more.

Just recently, Skai has been using her time to call out racists on social media and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Skai Jackson Talks Exposing Racists, Says She Wants to Use Her 'Platform for Good'

Skai Jackson is doing her part to rid the internet of bullies.

The 18-year-old actress has been using her social media platform to expose racists and bullies, and people are praising her for it.

“I would always just get DMs from my fans, because people know I’m an advocate for anti-bullying,” Skai shared with ET. “So I would always just look at my messages and see a bunch of my fans saying, ‘Look at what this person said to me, I don’t know how to deal with this.’”

“The more I saw it, it became 20 in a day, I was like, you know what? No! I’m gonna speak out about it, ’cause I think it’s really important,” Skai continued. “People go through these struggles every day in life, and for me, it’s kinda like my duty with the big platform that I have, to use it for good.”

Skai admitted that she tries to be “a little cautious” when it comes to calling people out, saying she only does it if she is provided legitimate proof.

“I’m not exposing anything thats private — that’s one thing I won’t do,” Skai shared. “Everything that is said is public information. You posted these videos, it’s out there to the public. A lot of people have been trying to get me to post their address and number and I’m like, no, no, no, no, no, that’s one thing I will not do. I’m only posting public information.”

Skai went on to say that she doesn’t feel bad for anyone that has a problem with her takedowns.

“I mean, my thing is, if you don’t like it, if you don’t support it, then obviously it says something about you yourself,” Skai said. “In the back of my head, I was a little bit worried about it. I don’t know what — is this gonna harm me? But in my opinion, I feel like it’s done more justice for me and other people.”

“People can say whatever they want. But if you’re that bold to go on a public platform and say these things, please don’t get mad when someone addresses it,” Skai continued. “That’s simply what I’m doing. If you’re saying this to a hundred people, what’s the difference of a hundred people to a million people seeing it? You said what you said, and obviously you meant it, so… If you don’t want people to know, if you don’t want people to be mad, then you simply shouldn’t have made those videos and made those statements.”

If you didn’t know, The Flash star Hartley Sawyer was recently fired from the show after Skai shared several of his past racist and misogynistic tweets.

“Honestly, I didn’t know who he was, but a lot of my fans were sending me his tweets and I just noticed that he was verified,” Skai explained. “What he was saying… was just utterly disgusting. So, verified or not? I’m gonna say what I have to say and I mean, he got fired. That sucks, but he’s grown. He’s old enough to know that those things that you say, those homophobic slurs, those racists slurs, are just not OK. They’re not OK, period.”

Skai
said that she decided to start doing this so that she can help make a change in the world.

“I really hope that they learn from this and educate themselves, because everyone does make mistakes, but it’s up to you to learn from them and move them forward,” Skai shared. “I just want them to know that words sometimes do hurt, no matter how strong the person is. Black people are already going through so much, right now in the world, and for you to think it’s OK to use those racial slurs against us is just disgusting to me. I really hope and pray that you educate yourself. Do your history and understand why saying the n-word and all these other things are not OK.”

Skai Jackson Is Exposing Teen Racists On Twitter & Earning Praise From Everyone

Skai Jackson means business when it comes to exposing racists on social media.

The 18-year-old former Disney Channel star has been calling teens out on the social media platform who have shared their insensitive views on the Black Lives Matter movement, the Black community and more.

Skai is naming names, showing up with screenshots and calling any schools and colleges to take action – and one school did just that.

After calling out one person, Rowan University took notice and it looks like will be taking action.

“Hi Skai, We do not condone discrimination, harassment, or other forms of illegal mistreatment of others. We take all allegations brought to our attention seriously, and investigate them to the fullest extent possible. This case is being handled by administration. Thank you,” they responded to her.

Skai has made it her mission this week to call out as many racists as possible and will not be taking she finds down.

Several celebrities, including Yvette Nicole Brown, Kevin McHale, and others are praising Skai for calling people out.
