Game of Thrones is one of the most epic shows in TV history.

The long-running HBO series, an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin, first premiered on April 17, 2011, and ran through May 19, 2019, with 73 episodes over eight seasons.

The show is set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, and followed the stories of several major characters from the books.
