General Hospital has been airing on ABC since 1963 and just celebrated its 61st anniversary on April 1.

While many of the actors on the show have remained in their roles for decades, many celebs got their start on the soap opera and eventually broke into the world of film and primetime television.

Bridgit Mendler is setting the record straight on her qualifications.

While it was on her social pages, the 31-year-old former actress and singer was thought to have a PhD, doctor of Philosophy in any discipline except medicine, but she is now clarifying that she actually doesn’t have that yet.

In a note shared to her X/Twitter account, Bridgit clarified why she doesn’t have her PhD and what degree she is closer to having.

Bridgit Mendler is coming back, and the world is ready!

The 28-year-old singer and actress posted two snippets of unreleased music to her Twitter early on Sunday morning (April 18), and Twitter exploded with reactions.

Upon releasing two snippets of the recording of a new song, Bridgit Mendler‘s name began trending on Twitter in the United States.

“SHE IS COMING!!! BRIDGIT MENDLER IS COMING!!!,” one fan wrote.

“IF BRIDGIT MENDLER COMES BACK TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY ITS LITERALLY OVER FOR ALL OF YOU BITCHES,” another wrote.

Bridgit‘s debut album, Hello My Name Is…, was released in 2012. She released her Nemesis EP in 2016. Her last single, “Diving” with RKCB, was released in 2017.

Netflix has just revealed the newest trailer for Merry Happy Whatever!

The funny new show follows Don Quinn (Dennis Quaid), a strong-willed patriarch from Philadelphia doing his best to balance the stress of the holidays with the demands of his close-knit but eclectic family — and his family doing their best to manage him.

But when youngest daughter Emmy (Bridgit Mendler) arrives home from L.A. with a new boyfriend, struggling musician Matt (Brent Morin), Don’s belief that “there’s the Quinn way… and the wrong way” is put to the test.

Ashley Tisdale, Siobhan Murphy, Adam Rose, Hayes MacArthur, and Elizabeth Ho also star.
