Mark Wahlberg has an exciting new movie being released just in time for the holidays and the first trailer was just unveiled online.

The Oscar-nominated actor is starring alongside Michelle Monaghan in the action comedy film The Family Plan, which drops on Apple TV+ on December 15.

Here is the synopsis: “Dan Morgan (Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that’s only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, pro-gamer teen son and adorable 10-month-old baby into their minivan and takes off on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family — while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime — Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity.”

The night of the 2022 National Board of Review Awards Gala has arrived and lots of stars stepped out on the red carpet!

Bradley Cooper and King Richard stars Will Smith and Aunjanue Ellis were among the celebs who walked the red carpet at the event on Tuesday night (March 15) at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

Throughout the last 30 years, the winner of the Best Picture award at the National Board of Review Awards has gone on to receive an Oscar nomination every year except for three times.

The award winners were announced back in early December 2021.

The 2022 BAFTAs show is less than 24 hours away and many of the nominees stepped out to celebrate their nominations at a pre-party!

West Side Story‘s Ariana DeBose, The Power of the Dog‘s Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Licorice Pizza‘s Alana Haim were among the nominated stars who attended the reception on Saturday night (March 12) in London, England.

One interesting thing about the BAFTAs nominees is that in the Best Actress category, none of the six nominated actresses are up for an Oscar this year.

The show will air at 2pm ET / 11am ET on the BritBox streaming service for fans watching in North America.

Kodi Smit-McPhee had a date night at The Hollywood Reporter’s Oscar Nominees Night!

The 25-year-old actor and his longtime girlfriend Rebecca Phillipou celebrated his Oscar nomination at the event on Monday (March 7) at Spago in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Kodi is up for Best Supporting Actor for The Power of the Dog. Ciaran Hinds, who is nominated in the same category for Belfast, was also at the event.

More celebs who stepped out to ring in Oscars season included Heidi Klum and husband Tom Kaulitz, Chloe Bailey, Tika Sumpter, Inanna Sarkis and Matthew Noszka, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wilmer Valderrama and wife Amanda Pacheco, Bianca Lawson, and Amy Forsyth.

Questlove, who is nominated for Best Documentary Feature for Summer of Soul, was also there.

Will Smith looks sharp in a blue suit while arriving for the 2022 Oscars Nominees Luncheon held at Fairmont Century Plaza on Monday (March 7) in Los Angeles.

The 53-year-old actor joined his fellow Best Actor nominees Andrew Garfield, Benedict Cumberbatch and Denzel Washington at the event.

Best Supporting Actor nominees Kodi Smit-McPhee, Troy Kotsur, JK Simmons, and Belfast‘s Ciaran Hinds were also seen inside the event.

Will‘s King Richard co-star Aunjanue Ellis, was also in attendance wearing a bright pink suit. She’s nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

FYI: Will and Aunjanue are both in custom Dolce&Gabbana. Kodi wore an Alexander McQueen look, with an Emanuele Bicocchi earring and rings, a Patcharavipa ring, and Cartier watch. Jamie Dornan and Caitriona Balfe are stepping out to honor Kenneth Branagh!

The Belfast team walked the red carpet together at the 2022 Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards on Monday (February 28) at Avalon in Hollywood.

Also in attendance were Belfast co-stars Ciaran Hinds and Jude Hill. Kenneth, who wrote and directed the movie, is being honored with the Excellence in Artistry Award to celebrate his career as an actor and filmmaker.

Belfast is up for many awards during the show too, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Jamie and Ciaran, Best Supporting Actress for Caitriona, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Kenneth, Best Original Song, and Best Film Editing.

The Belfast co-stars stepped out for the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (February 27) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

For the event, Caitriona, 42, looked stunning in a red plunging dress while Jamie, 39, sported a sharp gray suit with black bow tie.

Caitriona and Jamie‘s co-stars Jude Hill and Ciaran Hinds were also in attendance along with the Belfast director and writer Kenneth Branagh.

Tonight, Caitriona is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role while the Belfast cast is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
