20 Stars Who've Admitted to Using Ozempic or Similar Weight Loss Drugs

The Ozempic trend has exploded worldwide, in Hollywood and beyond. The once-a-week injectable medicine was created to help adults with type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar, but is also known for its weight loss effects, which some celebrities are using for that reason…and only that reason.

Despite Ozempic (and similar drugs) becoming a tool for weight loss, one plastic surgeon told Us Weekly in March 2023 that it was never meant for people who are near their ideal weight, and that “it’s not even approved by the FDA for casual weight loss.”

Regardless, some stars have once and/or still take Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy and others for weight loss. Others have spoken out when accused of taking the drugs. With that in mind, we’re looking at celebrities who’ve denied and admitted to taking Ozempic and similar weight loss drugs.

Oprah Winfrey is one of the stars who’s getting candid about weight loss drugs.

Last month, Oprah hosted an hour-long ABC primetime special about weight loss drugs, called An Oprah Special: Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution.

Claudia Oshry, aka @girlwithnojob, Drops Debut Single 'Toast'

Claudia Oshry is best known as the comedian behind the Instagram account @girlwithnojob, but now she’s breaking into the music world.

The Instagram celeb, who has billed herself as “the world’s first comedic pop star,” has dropped her debut single “Toast.”

The word toast is in reference to Claudia‘s digital morning show The Morning Toast.

“The word’ ‘toast’ is so great, and the reason we chose the word for [The Morning Toast] was because it has a double meaning; it’s food, it’s liquor, it’s whatever you want it to be,” she told ET. “The word toast is so… party, and the song is really meant to be a fun dance song. I’m really glad that we got it in there. Now, I feel it can really be the anthem of our community, the podcast, my live show, but it’s also, at the end of the day, it’s a good song.”

“I would like to think of myself as a very young Mariah Carey, but honestly, it’s a little daunting,” Claudia said about recording the song. “I mean, I think maybe I’m a little too confident in my singing abilities. I really feel like I was put on this earth to sing, I got into that booth and was ready to belt like I was on Broadway.”

You can download the song now on iTunes and stream it below via Spotify.

Cuba Gooding Jr. Denies Claudia Oshry's Claim He Sexually Assaulted Her When She Was 16

Cuba Gooding Jr.‘s attorney is denying comedian and blogger Claudia Oshry‘s claims that the actor stuck his finger up her rear end when she was only 16 years old.

“Cuba says this incident never happened and he has no recollection of this individual either,” his attorney told E! News.

“At the end of the day, like, I don’t know if I’ve ever considered myself to be, like, a victim of sexual assault because I’m not,” Claudia, now 24, said on her podcast. “There are people who are real victims that I would never compare myself to them. But yes, when I was in high school—I was f–king 16 years old—Cuba Gooding Jr. put his finger up my butt, and I felt wild. Like, I felt—I don’t even know what the right word is. And now, it’s just become, like, a part of who I am. It’s a part of my story.”

“You want to put your finger up my butt without my consent? Fine. But I’m going to use it for all that it’s worth,” she continued. “It’s become, like, this really funny bit in my story.”

“At the end of the day, when I tell people this at my meet-and-greets and just anyone who’s ever come to my show, there’s, like, at least once every show, someone who comes up to me, they’re like, ‘Oh my God! Me and my friends were at a club and the same thing happened to me’ or ‘the same thing happened to my friend,’” Claudia added.

Claudia then referenced Cuba being arrested last week after allegedly groping a different woman.

“This is not the first time that I’ve heard, but this is the first time I’ve heard that police are involved,” Claudia continued. “Good on this girl. Because ow many f–king people is he going to grope before one of them calls the police? Mine was 10 years ago!”

Video of Cuba Gooding Jr. allegedly groping a woman earlier this month recently surfaced.
