Amanda Seyfried shared her thoughts on Elizabeth Holmes reporting to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas this week to begin serving out her 11-year sentence.
The 37-year-old actress portrayed Elizabeth Holmes in the 2022 drama miniseries The Dropout.
“Crazy. The justice system is bananas and I just I feel for those kids,” Amanda said of the two children of the Theranos founder.

The 37-year-old actress was spotted making her way to both Live! With Kelly and Mark, and Good Morning America to promote her new Apple TV+ series, The Crowded Room.
During her GMA appearance, Amanda was asked about Elizabeth Holmes‘ prison sentence. Amanda played the Theranos founder in Hulu’s The Dropout.
“There’s two kids that are hanging in the balance here. As a parent — just as a mom,” Amanda said when asked about what she thought of Elizabeth‘s sentence.
She added that “Life’s not fair, but in a lot of ways it’s fair. It’s fair for her, in particular.”

Elizabeth Holmes is going to jail.
On Friday (November 18), the 38-year-old former Theranos CEO – who is currently pregnant with her second child – was sentenced to 135 months, which is more than 11 years, in prison following her conviction in January for defrauding investors while running her failed blood testing startup.

If you don’t know, Jennifer Lawrence had been attached to portray Elizabeth Holmes in a new movie directed by Don’t Look Up‘s Adam McKay.
The movie was set to be an adaptation of “Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley” by journalist John Carreyrou. Adam was going to write, produce and director the movie.
However, Jennifer has now dropped out of the film.
