Lindsay Lohan & Rachel McAdams Recreate Famous 'Mean Girls' Phone Call With Lacey Chabert & Amanda Seyfried

Lindsay Lohan has reunited the Plastics to recreate that iconic four-way phone call in the Mean Girls movie.

Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried all returned as their characters for the scene, which Lindsay shared on her Instagram account.

The infamous scene sees Lindsay‘s Cady trying to catch Rachel‘s Regina George badmouthing Gretchen, played by Lacey, while she is secretly listening on the phone call.

After hearing the nasty things Regina has to say about her, Gretchen then dials in Amanda‘s Karen to gossip about it.

The phone goes back and forth between all four of them, as they break promises, lie about just what was said and more.

The iconic phone call was recreated with the purpose of urging more people to get out an vote in the upcoming election in November.

'Mean Girls' Cast Reunites to Encourage People to Vote - Watch the Reunion!

The cast of Mean Girls reunited for a special reason and you can watch the full video here!

Katie Couric brought the entire cast together after reaching her goal of getting 5,000 people to register to vote as part of HeadCount’s Good to Vote campaign.

Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Franzese, Jonathan Bennett, Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer, and Rajiv Surendra all participated in the reunion. Rachel McAdams, who is currently pregnant, was unable to attend the reunion, but she did a solo Zoom call with Katie that was included.

Amanda had to lay down during the call as she just gave birth to her second child, which Katie noted at the beginning.

Tina revealed that she had to change lines in the movie to get a PG-13 rating. She said, “We felt it was important to get that PG-13 so I had to keep peeling that away. I remember one of the weird ones, we couldn’t say… in the cafeteria Jason Weems says ‘is your cherry popped?’ and they wouldn’t let us say it. I do think because it was girls and not boys MPAA were like ‘no,’ they couldn’t handle it. So we had to change ‘is your cherry popped’ to a weird audio replacement of ‘is your muffin buttered,’ which means nothing.”
