Diane Sawyer had a very unexpected experience while filming the Love Actually 20th anniversary reunion special.
The 76-year-old broadcaster was interviewing Thomas Brodie-Sangster for the special, who played kid drummer Sam in the 2003 film, and is now 32 years old.
The two came to the bench on the Thames River where he filmed scenes with his on-screen stepfather, Liam Neeson, when the incident occurred, via ET Canada.

The cast of Love Actually is back together!
It’s been 20 years since the making of the holiday classic, and ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer will have a primetime special, airing tonight (Tuesday, November 29) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, featuring special interviews with the cast and behind-the-scenes secrets from the movie. (It airs next day on Hulu as well.)
