Disney+ dropped the first look at the new series on Tuesday (March 19), along with first look photos and the key art.
Starring in the series include Amandla Stenberg and Lee Jung-jae in leading roles.

The Acolyte “will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era,” the logline states. “A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but discovers the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.”
Lee Jung-jae, Amandla Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith, Dafne Keen, Manny Jacinto, and Carrie-Anne Moss are among the actors making up The Acolyte‘s cast.

The Acolyte is coming!
The highly anticipated Star Wars series has found its lead, and made the big announcement on Friday (July 22).
The Acolyte is set a century before the events of Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace, and promises to “depict the galaxy at the peak of the era of the High Republic, when the Jedi were at their strongest and the Sith were believed to have been eradicated from the galaxy,” via Variety.
